After seeing a few crawler videos on YouTube, my four-year-old twins and I decided we had to pick one up. So one Traxxas TRX-4M later and it has been a blast. The kids like filling the bed with "supplies" like flower petals and driving it over rock obstacles. I could see this becoming a very addictive and expensive hobby, but for now this little pickup is really fun.

I also decided to kit out the twins with some Walmart RC jeeps of their own.

Just an FYI on a deal for some far more entry level RC tanks. They still have the IR battle and airsoft cannon function, but are smaller and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. There are links in the video description for each of the 3 and they are only $80 right now.

I bought 3 of the larger Heng Long 1/16 scale tanks (2 Shermans and a Panzer IV) and 2 of them work great and are very cool. Sadly, the third arrived with a dead remote. It was the German one that didn't work, and that one was going to be mine. The other 2 were gifts, so at least that part worked out.

Trying again. Ordered the Panzer, as I had it out of the box to test it when I found the dead remote, and it's a really cool tank. I actually had ordered it by mistake, intending to get a Tiger, but I really prefer the looks of the Panzer. Didn't know it but, after getting hands on, it is definitely the right tank for me.
