Yup. That's the biggest thing that keeps me from commuting on it. It's just an extra chunk of time and I'm already showing up to work between 0520-0530 for my 0600 shift. I don't want to get up or get ready earlier just for a 3 mile ride while it's cold as crap in the morning. I pop home and get the bike on some of my lunch breaks when I'm on day shift, though.

When I used to ride I would wear Icon clothes. not sure if they still are, but they were very durable and casual. So I didnt have to change in and out. a lot has changes since I last rode I am sure

He only leaves the house for the gym :muscleflexing: so he's changing no matter what. LOL

For me, I just wear my helmet, jacket, and gloves, but between that and trying to take lunch with me it adds a bit of time both departing and arriving on my commute. Can't sit at my desk in my helmet, though I'd look cool AF if I did.

I get that. My helmet always went in with my, but my jacket went on my chair and helmet/gloves on my desk. The boots, pants and shirt, I just wore all day.

Yeah, I guess I'm just whining since I don't have a riding shirt, pants, or boots.

It's still not warm enough yet to commute. Still in the 30s at that hour.

I wear riding jeans. Casual look, but are heavy due to the armor and retardant material. I wear a zip up hoodie that has armor and I upgraded the back armor to something more flexible (comfortable) and safer.
Of course I wear gloves, riding boots, and a helmet. I bought a back pack I can put my helmet in.
If I’m going to the gym, I just wear the riding gear over my gym clothes and my gym shoes are in the backpack along with my intra-workout drink, wraps and whatever else. Not a big deal there.

Last bike I rode to work on was my Harley bagger. I just wore whatever I was wearing at work and a jacket if needed. Helmet and jacket went in the saddle bags when I got to work.

    Oh, bummer. :(

We can get a sidecar for @T-Rex266 's bike and you can ride around that way. :D

Have you thought about something like a Spyder or.... *gag* a trike? Before I got back on a bike I was looking at a Spyder or a Ryker from Can-Am, but the cushy Spyders are as much or more than a damn car!

Bracing for all hell to break loose at work. We've got one carrier doing emergency equipment replacement for a 6 hour window tonight and it's going to trash the majority of stuff in an entire state for another carrier. :pccoffee:

Much as I love it here, if it'll heal your pain and let you enjoy a bike again, I'll take that hammer strike.

I have an appointment with my PCP in a couple of weeks, I'll double check with him on what dose I need. One week, a month, or a perma ban.

Keep me posted. I'd like to be prepared.

You'll also have to share pics with Sean of you out on your bike afterward.

Whatever this forum told me to do
how you know you're doin' OK:

I was doing heavy bench day.

    Floor press.

which entails lying on the floor and doing a bench press.

well, I finished and decided to rest a tad after the last set. still lying on floor, in rack.

    20 minutes later........

    I woke up.

    it was good.

it was one of those coma inducing rests.

I guess I was damn relaxed after hitting my number & was simply content to stay there.

then we went to Texas Roadhouse.

they have a deviled egg appetizer with whipped filling & a bacon topper.

I know enough about to towing to know....I don't like towing.

Also, every single time.... It is unfortunate. The FB group is even worse. They almost brag about doing 2500/3500 things with their Tundras.

i will be the first to say I have and may have to again, but I will not gloat about it because it was either in ignorance years ago or an emergency situation. i.e. over payload on the tundra. Wife now knows we are thinning down freezer stock and not loading it up again this storm season. We lose what we cannot load. That alone will keep me in weight limits.

Took my truck in for 5000 mi service, I do a lot of dirt roads so I get the oil changed every 5000 miles and obviously the tire rotation.

I get the truck back and had to leave to get a new boat 120 miles away. Through Casper the truck was fine, but when I hit the high way it started shaking like Michael J Fox. So I call and I says, I says to em. Hey what the hell do to my truck? Why’s it shaking. Could’ve used the damn thing for a paint mixer.

got it back into the shop they left the fuckin lugs loose.
