Yall smokin crack. Those tires are 2022 date code, and not even half way to the wear bars yet. Have about 20k miles on them. They are 225/65/17s on a small SUV.

 

I bet they are great in the rain too.

 

Even the Prius crowd is getting into overlanding.

They’re just fine in the rain, they’re passenger car tires for goodness sakes, they only came with so many tread depths to start with.

 

Speaking of Kaufman... You see Troma is releasing a modern Toxic Avenger remake? Personally I love the old Troma look and feel, but I'll give it a chance.

It looks a lot darker. I just hope it doesn't have that stupid shaky camera all the action movies have now, and like twenty camera cut aways for a scene of two people standing there talking.

 

Most likely a lot of CGI if they can afford it.

 

I can't imagine Troma can afford CGI. They made their name off practical effects

 

Probably just for canned effects I’d guess if that’s the case and to stay consistent with the B movie format.

 

But they can afford Dinklage

Ooh, new Tank Girl movie coming out in July. I'm so sick of remakes. 7/10 suck. I'll wait til it's streaming.

Now we just need someone to get pegged, and y'all will have a support group.

 

Can’t peg a tire, it needs to stay within the realm of what can be done to a tire like popped or slashed.

 

I have actual proof to the contrary. My ‘99.5 GTI got pegged in the rear tire with 8” of rebar merging onto I-20 eastbound from I-75 south. I posted pics on here in the past. Glad it was the GTI and not me.

Nah, only went in an inch or two. But it did shred the inner fender liner, and smashed the EVAP canister, which was $$$ from VW.

 

The last time my brother came to visit he got screwed twice. Tpms said he was down to 15lbs by the time he made it to my driveway.

I've pulled a brake pad out of one before. I've also pulled a 12m open end wrench out before too.

 

He clearly doesn't have to worry about car seats.
