Haven't been to Canada in ages.
My Mother was born there so I have lots of relatives up there.
They have a place on lake Okanoggin.
While the water is COLD as hell it sure is pretty!!
You can see bottom from some really deep water!!
What you might think is 10 foot of water is actually 60 foot!!!
Kinda reminds me of the Caribbean minus the salt.

Welcome. I invented the color mudbath in my mind a few years ago when all the 'putty' colored trucks were hitting the market. If only I'd patented or copyrighted or whatever after I thought of it lol.

Oh...being from Texas my Cousins friends would ask me if I lived on a ranch and how many cattle I had.
    And they were serious.

Cold, you say? Pfft. I’ve jumped in Okanagan Lake during an all-nighter New-Years party, and while it was kinda refreshing then, running through the snow barefoot was the cold part. ;)

    Welcome CJ!

Originally from Washington State so I was familiar with the weather up there.
My Dad was Head Trainer at WSU.
He got a call from the then new Houston Rockets for the Head Trainer position and we were off to Texas.
About died from the heat and humidity at first.
Was walking off the plane on the jet way and it felt like you were in a steam room.
Now? I love the heat and humidity!!
Went to Vegas to visit a buddy who moved there and to go on an off road trip from Vegas to Southern California with the Vegas/California Chapters of Toyota Territory.
My lips cracked and bled like a stuck Pig it was so dry!!
Couldnt wait to get back to the humidity!!!

It can be miserable but once you get used to it it's fine.
The Wife and I go to Jamaica frequently,Negril Jamaica to be exact, and the locals there will complain about the heat and humidity.
We just laugh at em and point out that at least you have a constant sea breeze!!

Hopefully the fires and smoke aren’t too bad in your area!

We heading that way to see my sister in Melville area but the smoke is too much for my wife so we have postponed our travel there.

Melville eh... My wife is from Melville. Smoke is okay here, the wind is pretty strong out of the west, keeps the smoke to the north of us.
