I think it looks good. The real question is do you like it.

My shift lever is now so sloppy that the overdrive button only works intermittently. So I guess it's time.

This guy is in the shop for some leg repair.

What would Nancy Kerrigan do, huh? Nancy Kerrigan wouldn't give up. When things were looking their darkest Nancy Kerrigan fought to be the best. She wouldn't stop until she was number one. Uh, Stan. Nancy Kerrigan wouldn't settle for second best. Stan. She wouldn't quit until she brought home the gold. Stan! What? Nancy Kerrigan got the silver, dude. She came in second. Really? Yeah, dude. Oh, never mind, Jesus. Nancy Kerrigan sucks.

275's would look better. 285's would look best. I think you have the same wheels as me. They have the perfect backspace which is why I think I don't have the rubbing issues that others(mostly @shifty` ) complain about. That combined with the right caster alignment specs.

Just noticed your truck is 2WD. So 33's might be overkill honestly. If you aren't taking it off pavement much, might be worth sticking with 275's.

I have ~45k miles on my at3’s and I swear these things will go another 30-40k. This is by far my favorite tire.

I agree, I only run AT3's on my trucks, they wear forever, not noisy on the highway, and are great in the snow.

Bought Tundra in 2009 w/113K miles, bought TOYO Open Country H/T II since it’s an asphalt princess. Have no reason to leave TOYO, great tire.

You've got the goofy 2000 year only OD button. You may be able to clean the contacts if wiggling the button makes the OD light flicker/flash. I think @Tundra2 replaced his whole stalk. I can't remember if it was due to the OD button or something else.

Yep. The last set I had on for 8 years. Even then they still had enough tread for normal driving but I like a deeper cleat for snow (I plow) so I finally replaced them. Of course I don't take 90 degree curves at 50mph and scrub the edges off either. AT tires require a different approach to driving on backtop if you want to get mileage out of the tread.

    that’s what I’m thinking I don’t want 285s just a bit more height. I don’t really off-road just out to our sites

I replaced the entire stalk at first because the wiring was damaged INSIDE the gear shift lever somehow. Later on i replaced the bracket that often fails

I just started seeing the (Parking) Brake Warning Light coming on under acceleration. It goes off as soon as I let off the gas. I checked the fluid level in the reservoir and it's well above minimum.
The Parking Brake Switch and Pedal appear to be playing well and I can't see how acceleration could overcome the pedal return spring and allow the switch to move.

Front pads and rotors were replaced 10/03/2024 and have just 7,000 miles on them. I'm wondering if the float in the reservoir is having trouble. Any pointers?

From the megathread, not applicable? :
    • E-Brake light stuck on: Wear on the parking brake pedal shaft and pin may cause the parking brake light to stay on, more info here.
