Hey I recently picked up a 2017 Tundra limited. Im assuming the fog lights are burned out (unless there’s a secret switch I’m missing) because they wont automatically come on with the headlights.

I’m struggling with visibility at night when taking turns. Do the OEM bulbs do a good enough job or should I upgrade to something else?

No real plans to off road the truck any time soon Im just looking for something to help me see better on the road.

    Thanks!

Have you checked your stalk for the fog light position on the steering column? Can you see the actual OEM fog lights?

The fog lights don't automatically come on with the stock set up. Check your user manual for how to turn them on and confirm if they are burned out before you mess with replacing.

They have OEM LED bulb replacements for the halogen ones 2017 comes with. Just make sure you get a quality bulb to help convert from halogen to LED. Same thing can be done for the headlights without replacing the entire stock unit. Got mine off Amazon and took a little, but worked well.

Definitely interested in doing the LED fogs now. Do you remember the brand you went with?

For the fog lights they are Omni directional, but for the headlight bulb there is a up and down! Haha I installed mine upside down and was blinding people for a while and had to swap em. Check/test prior to putting it all back together. The grill had to be removed to remove headlight housing to install light bulb. Fog lights are pretty easy without much removal.

the third brake light and reverse lights they make similar models and really light up stuff! Most plug in play.

Welcome from TN!! And if you are wanting to upgrade anyway, I'd say go for it. It's pretty easy to do and I love mine!

I saw "fog lights" and wanted to ask - So i just got a 2019 SR - and I wanted to put fog lamps in. I got a kit, with the correct blubs and the wiring came with it -there is Fog lamp fuse - good, there was already wiring in the truck. However, I installed them and it does not work - what can I do?

Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Max fogs work great. They are far more powerful than your headlights. Get ahold of @memario1214 . He'll get you hooked up.
