thanks ya'll, guess I'll order me some thermal shield tape to have it here once my blower comes back from magnuson. any recommended brands?

unsure if I want to fork over the cash for the runners right now though, the billet ones look nice but not sure what benefit they'd provide over the delrin

I got the aluminum version so I could drill/tap for nitrous or water/meth, the delrin version would be better to reduce heat soak coming from the cylinder heads and they say it can be drilled/tapped but I'd be more confident in the aluminum threads being stronger. Not sure on which brand of thermal shield would be better, they all seem to be very similar in design and material, I got mine here https://fiinterchillers.com/product/thermal-blanket/

I’m expecting them to announce a Memorial Day sale, last year it was 20% off the Friday before. If they do I may order the delrin ones. Should make them a price worth buying for the IAT reduction.

Yup. If I see anything posted I’ll mention it.

    Many on the way.
The plastic flanges from a stock intake manifold may be suitable for a heat break. Though that really depends on how much of an angle is in there as the port runs through it. Slice ‘em off and drop at the machine shop to skim them flat.

I have sent out 2 emails to them asking if they could make me a 1/2” delrin spacer, No response from them. 1” is overkill for a thermal break.

For a thermal break yes but the longer runner also helps with torque which is probably the reason for the height.

I’m willing to bet in our application the numbers are so minuscule from 1” to .5”.
