I bought my 2025 Tundra Limited just over a month ago and since then I have received a number of surveys and emails from Toyota corporate asking me about my overall satisfaction and why I chose a Tundra. Well, today I received a call from 'Toyota Client Relations' and they wanted to talk about my overall satisfaction after owning my truck for a month and if I have experienced any concerns from rattles and driving issues to overall performance. I let them rep know that I had zero complaints/regrets and then she stated I would be receiving a follow-up letter summarizing our call along with her contact information and that I should reach out directly if I experience any issues and she would coordinate any needed service visits to address my concerns. The personal touch of reaching out directly to check my satisfaction is exactly why I bought another Tundra and will continue to be loyal to the brand.

They got the consumer report grade and have to do something about it, Japan doesn’t play like that

It is good to hear they seem to care about new owners. The only communication I have ever received from Toyota is various recall letters related to my 2023 Tundra.

Yes good for new owners. How about the 300K of us early adopters?

I've had mine a bit over a month and haven't heard anything from Toyota. I don't believe your experience is typical or the norm.

Toyota doesn't care about anyone. If they did, I wouldn't have to restart my Toyota after opening the door when I use the fob to start it remotely :rofl:

On the other hand... Way back when there was a recall on our OEM tonneau covers and the dealers removed them pending the remedy. I asked Toyota to refund the cost of this unusable thing so I could buy an aftermarket alternative and they refused, so I had to go without for a year while they developed a fix. Yup, it took them a year to add a couple of extra hold down bolts. Absolutely tone deaf terrible customer service.

That’s what I’ve concluded from the firing of quality control lead and the press around it…that wasn’t for us, that was for Toyota. What about us that bought during the quality control/assurance woes, with creaks and rattles and wind noise and whistling mirrors and cheap, breaking plastics and and and? All I get from Toyota Service is “common for the model” and “could not replicate”, so I’ve come to the conclusion those few year models are “Toyota, we build ‘em, you figure out the fixes” and started trying to figure the piddly stuff out they have no interest in.
My pearls are still unclutched over the motor (knock wood)…fun to drive. I’m just outside recall and just crossed 30k miles, so still a little puck factor.

Thats the dumbest thing I've heard today, but it's only 2pm.

I chose tundra for reliability, not for "brand loyalty". If toyota starts to slip on quality, I will choose another brand.

Don't take this the wrong way, sir.

One time I called them on an issue I got one callback from a guy in West Africa. I know the accent and he confirmed he was not in my country when asked.

    They did absolutely nothing

I’ve had the same experience with Toyota sending me a survey every time I use the dealership for service. The email comes in English and Japanese and I always fill it out.

I called about waiting 6 months for brake parts on my 24 and to see if toyota was offering any goodwill. They basically told me to piss off

Remote start issue fixed with TSS 3.0. Only issue, our trucks are only TSS 2.5.

I pay the 15 and got a remote start module to bypass the bs. I like having the oem info available from the app, so I will have to keep paying...not a big deal, imo.

ok, a little price difference, I get that, but I'm not really wanting to mod this one with any aftermarket stuff this time around. I like the way the app works and all the info.

maybe some day they will go to TSS 3.0 and it will be a moot point.

I don't really care what the audience is, I dont say that to be rude so dont take it that way. I bet more people use the OEM toyota app then aftermakrket remote stat mods.

and 15 bucks is fine for me.

a lot of aftermarket remote starts that can be used from anywhere cell based have fees as well monthly. If you talking two-way range than I get that.
