Palm vascular system. Same at today's palms! The trunk pic has the same vascular system naturally. But it's a rare trunk!

A new knot compared to a 65 million year old knot.

I love space more than rocks and fossils. Went to an observatory last month and saw a solar system 81 light years away. Kinda bakes the noodle when you think about it. But that palm stone is fukn awesome!

I see bazillions of solar systems just looking up in the night sky here in Alamosa. Most of the valley outside of town is an official light free sanctuary. 8000 square miles. San Luis Valley. 8000 ft altitude, give or take. Your porch lights can't be seen from above or from the side. Right @ColoradoTJ ?

Ok, the admin lady from the course called me back. She shows it sent the next business day to the dmv. She has emailed her director contact at the dmv asking wtf and hopefully I’ll bypass a lot of this waiting game, again. I do trust she’ll get it situated.

I was camping with Manny on my Ft Garland property when he was 3. Woke him up around 3am. Grandpa, what's that cloud? Milky Way. So many stars. 8000 square miles. Population less than 50,000. Best Air in the state. Surrounded by the Sangre De Cristo mountains on the east, and the San Juans on the west. The skies are so blue! Right now!

I swear to god, this valley is a great place to retire. Ranches and farms. Colorado sucks for the most part now. Californication on the front range ruined shit. I moved to where it doesn't suck. Totally different mindset here. Heck, I see Amish carriages all time. So many folks have no idea about the Amish. They drive cars and have large farms and the $$$ farm equipment. 8 miles away there's an Amish bakery. O my god. To die for. Sourdough bread. Fried hand pies! Canned goods. Fresh bacon, ham. Prolly the richest folks here.

Yeah, I am already planning on upgrading in a couple of years. Thankfully the camper is light enough that the Tundra handles safely with it. I just dont like the fact its a big ass sail and how I feel it in the wheel some times. But I was in the mountains in full control the last trip. But that gas needle goes down quickly!

If you saw the cat scale pic.... that was a huge relief for me for sure.

So when a chick has an outfit on and is showing off all her goodies. You know 80% of men will look and talk. The other 20% will look and act like they had no idea Marge was giving free shows. Either way, every guy knows about the free show. And so does every woman.
When I see this, I'm pointing it out to my wife... Did you see her tits and ass hanging out all over the place? And she's like fucking click whore.

Petrified pecan pic? AZ has some decent petrified trees. Alaska, 2 and 1/2 times bigger than Texas, has frozen Mastodon tusks. The real deal. I'm a Texan. After living in AK for almost a year, Texas is quite small and flat. Ha!

The sail is a big issue, especially with lighter half-tons. My trailer is 26’ overall but much heavier. That beautiful 5.7 will haul anything but the truck…yeah.

Pretty sure none of us would fight over the Prez, VP, Treasurer or Secretary job… we’d all run for Sergeant in Arms.

Does that make us a MC!?

Good thing, I'm only 25 minutes away from the New Mexico border which is kick ass. I can fly to Eugene, Orygun with my grandson and visit with my older brother. Hit the coast. Do some crabbing with @gosolo. Check out his shop. Head back. WA might as well be landlocked. Left side AFU. Ha!

I’ve got a bunch of petrified wood in my rock garden. It was here when we bought the place.

I even have a fossil cycad that was in the rock garden.

One of the better examples of petrified wood laying around.
