I installed the Scangauge 3 the other day, and now can see my individual tire pressures.

I was curious as to which tire was which, so I let air out of 3 of them until I could figure out their position, and it is like this:

The pressures are accurate, and I’m using the original OEM sensors. I did rotate my tires a few weeks back, when I installed “rock lights”.
Question : Does the trucks TPMS monitor know the wheel position (e.g. by distance) , or would it change with rotation? The manual says to reset TPMS after rotation, but I’m not sure why?

So if I'm reading correctly, you are asking how to make your SG3 tire positions match what you did when you were playing with the pressures? On the SG3, press and hold one of the positions and you can drag and drop them. I haven't quite figured out of the SG3 swaps locations automatically after a rotation.

Well, I was wondering if I rotate the tires in the future, will they stay by position, e.g. will #2 always represent the front right tire ?
    Thx

I'll get back to you on that as I want to look at mine. I have a 2020 that shows on the dash and I just rotated mine last week. I'll mess with the pressures and see what the results are. As far as the SG3, Tire 1 is driver front, 2 is passenger, 3 is driver rear, and 4 is passenger rear. I dont think the SG3 does it automatically but I also have an Autel TS508 so I'll move them around and see what happens.

I wanted to find this out with my SGIII too when I first got it. I just ended up removing those monitors and stick with the onboard system for monitoring.

I've inquired this before and found that our 2.5gens don't have a sensor for oil temp :(
