Since the Tundra has as much or more domestic USA content in it, I think it would make no difference other than the inflation bump. IMO

The mold is flat and the technical camo is added via a separate process.

As has been mentioned before, TRAILHUNTER was never suppose to be debuted on the Tundra. The Tundra team "stole" it from the Tacoma/4Runner team. There was quite the internal struggle because of this. The Tacoma/4Runner team didn't even know it was going to be at SEMA 2023.

Previous gen Crew Max already have it. It's not possible on the Double Cabs (smaller cab on the Tundra) as far as I have ever seen. Pretty sure there was a thread somewhere of somebody wanting to get it on a double cab, but it wouldn't work. Can't remember if it was lack of space or something like that, though.

    That’s a real head-turner Borla.
Owned 6 red trucks, 1 tan, 1 silver, current is gray.
Maybe Blueprint might be next. May have to travel to get, because for whatever reason, blue Tundras are hard to find in central NY.

Yours is a double cab. There isn't an extended cab on a 2016 Tundra. Hell, I'm not sure any 2nd gen/2.5 gen had an extended cab. 90% sure they only made the double cab and crew max.

Toyota names them funny on the tundra. The double cab is the smaller one with the vertical body color handle on the back door (in the 2nd and 2.5 gen), and the crew max is the full rear door larger cab.

Unless my paperwork is lying to me this is a 2016 extended cab.

    Well all be damned!!
    You're right.
Maybe it was my Tacoma that had those tiny jump seats on either side.
In my defense I've never ridden in the back seat.
But now that I think about it I never put the seat down since no one rides back there and it's easier to carry crap.

It's an easy thing to get mixed up on. Toyota isn't consistent with the naming (in the tacoma they call the crew cab a double cab, and the small cab is called an access cab) and they do it different than other truck brands as well. Just more of Toyota's weirdness to love.

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

There was a guy that did it on a regular cab on the old forum I used to use. It involved cutting the entire rear of the cab off and welding one from a junkyard CrewMax on.

Well, I mean, yeah I guess you could do that to a double cab. Not sure I'd be down for that myself, but how good a body guy do you know @Tundra Texan ?

My guess is that maybe a rendering on a 25 TRD. Not the actual 26. I dig that color.

Don’t have a brochure but took a screenshot from the web. Xtra Cab is Toyota’s moniker for extended cabs without doors.
My dad had a 1991 XtraCab. Tacoma name began 1995.5MY
You’re correct that it made its return in 2024

You think what would make no difference? Can't tell who you are directing the comment to so we have no context.

To respond to a post there is a button in the bottom right corner that says "quote" and then you can type your response after that. It helps keep a conversation going if we know what you're referring to.
