UPS ground for my Harrop was $177. Like Snivilous, I got a 27 gal tote from Home Depot, some of their DIY insulation Styrofoam and cut it up to fit the tote. I taped up the flanges on the supercharger, and cellophane wrap around it. In the tote I had three layers of Styrofoam on the bottom, a couple layers on each side and 3 layers on top. Then I used a ratchet strap through the slots in the tote and cellophane wrap around the tote.

Ground rates are pretty cheap. Was just looking at air as a possibility to cut down time as much as possible.

    I put mine in a 40gal. unfortunately the mag2650 didn't fit in a 27.
Did you go direct through UPS? Insured? Thanks.

Yes, dropped off at UPS store, no additional insurance.

huh, guess I'll check at my UPS store tomorrow to see what they quote. you tell them the declared value or just that you're shipping car parts?

I just told them auto parts, it made it to Harrop's Ohio location with no problems.

I added the insurance. Seeing how practically ALL of packages show up at my house, I absolutely insured it. I know who my UPS driver is…

UPS ground was 2 days from me and I’m not even in an adjacent state to Whipple. Air said 3 days unless I wanted to pay mucho mucho doll hairs.

I used a 27 because I only sent the head unit, and it was only 53lbs shipped, so yours will be more expensive. Harrop said they didn't need the bottom to diagnose, but they are shipping it off to SCOL in California for inspection/diagnostics...so I should have just done that.

UPS lost my first set of TRD BBK calipers, shop that refurbished them did not insure them, I got 100. FWIW. I had over 650 in them :( (need to put the replacements on some day) :p

Yeah...I took a risk, and was sweating bullets when it said the package was delayed, but it ended up getting there.

Yea I'll just be shipping it ground and hope it gets there early. For sure insuring it though, rather not risk it disappearing somewhere along the way.

Also for Shipstation did you make an account with them or did you go directly through your paypal account shipping center?

AFAIK, you have to have a verified PayPal account to use Shipstation. I log in to PayPal, then open up a new tab and type in shipstations web address. Because I already logged in to PayPal, it automatically logs me in to ship station, though I’m not sure if I had to set something up at some point. Then just click on a new shipment without an existing order. The label will be charged to your PayPal account. Or at least I think that’s how it worked…

Thanks! Should be good since my account is verified, so I'll try that tomorrow in the morning.
Got some rates directly through the Paypal shipping center portal, but they're a little higher and the way they show the insurance just left me confused lol

You're lucky to not have experienced it. It is a major PITA! My Camaro has a Yukon Grizzly locker and it is the worst modification I have ever made to a vehicle. I cannot stand that thing. It's on my list of things to replace this summer with a nice LSD. Pulling into a parking spot and having that thing clunk and lock and unlock repeatedly sucks. So many times I have had people tell me they think something just broke and I have to sound like an idiot and say, No that's normal. Thanks though.
