My “TOYOTA” letters on my OEM grille have seen better days after the Texas heat has beat them down. Anyone know of a vendor that sells the letters? Apparently they just stick on with double sided tape. Any leads are appreciated.

I bought vinyl cut decals off of eBay for like $19.
Came with two pairs. First set lasted about 3 years. Replaced with the second this past fall.

Just a thought.. could be a cheap alternative.

I actually received these today in the mail, ha! They are quality, but I don’t think for this application as they require screws to secure to the grille.

I was eyeballing something similar from TVD vinyls. Do they allow for the silver to pole through from side? It looks great.

This is what those OEM letters look like removed from the grille
I pulled mine and had them painted when I installed my grille.
As @Tundra234 stated, they have pins that guide them into the holes, and they are stuck on with double-sided tape.

Rich at TVD is great  His products are great quality and for sure to last a long time. He hooked me up with several decals. If you're just wanting to add vinyl over your current letters, I'd get em from TVD.

So it’s funny, mine is a fake Pro grille, so all of the letters are attached to a solid oddly shaped back piece.

I removed them, painted the whole “assembly” of letters matte black to match the grill surround. Then installed the decals.

Looks good, did you just stick them back on the tape or apply new? Maybe I just plasti dip or paint the ones I have to avoid a headache. Did you do a rattle can or something more refined?

it all depends on your budget, and also what OEM color can be obtained.

For me the $30 project was worth it.

In 2015 Toyota didn't make a TRD Pro grille with a MGM surround.
I had to buy a white one and have it painted locally.
I pulled the insert out of the surround, flossed the letters off the insert, and had them painted too.

I used 3m molding tape to stick them back on.
Took a lot of tape cutting and trimming.
It has held for 10 years.
