You kids go through so many pages during a day that I have a really hard time to keep up. But as to the spelling issue, little history is helpful. A fellow by the name of Noah Webster is well known for the dictionary but you need the full story. After graduating from law school he could not get a job. Instead of being a lawyer he became a tutor/teacher of children. As part of teaching he taught correct spelling because in those times (late 18th century) there was no consistent/required form of spelling. Using that experience he published a book known commonly as the Blue-backed Speller and later became Webster's speller. It was his goal to change spelling from how words sounded to a uniform system. It was a success and that later led to his development of the dictionary. Thus, Webster is known as the father of English spelling.

Autocorrect got me there, and yes on all fronts on agreement. It is a handoff that takes place, so either you are correct or your area is just serviced by UPS. They originally created it to reduce their costs on places outside of their premier delivery locations. I saw it a lot when I ran a McKesson facility. As UPS's second largest customer, we saw a lot of the inner workings. That said, I know they are taking as much as they can from UPS now that the big blue is pissing them off.

I didnt know this about the big rigs, but then again I havent looked. Interesting and shitty that they use the same model there. You want to see trucking done right? Look up that shithead company Ashley furniture. Their black trucks are all private fleet and they are never empty, even when they are not running furniture. Thats a whole other topic though.

When I ran a chemical company, we shipped through a broker. I saw the worst of the worst come through there. They would throw bags of shit out in the yard and smell like absolute ass. Deregulation did so much good for the industry, but it also killed a lot of the best parts. You should see the shit our country is doing across the pond with drivers... insane.

Always a frustrating situation. One reason I wont go anywhere near a swift truck. As much as I loath the alphabet bois.... there needs to be a lot more regulation and validation on the road side of things.

 

it truly is amazing where people draw the line at food. Tree rats are delicious, at least the ones out in the country. I wouldnt eat any in my home town... anyway.... they are varmints and my wife always asks why I keep shooting them... because they will tear up this house in no time flat. I shoot any that come within my little imaginary fence. they stay over there, they live... they come over here, they die.

Now... Rib eye of the sky (sand hill cranes) can fuck right off too! those things will peck the chrome right off a vehicle for fun and then stand there blocking traffic like assholes.

otters... they are not little water puppies... they are assholes. I do not have any issue with Blue Herons. Other than the traditional, birds arent real thing.

I have many times considered killing rodents, and many times actually done so.
I have never considered eating ONE, much less hundreds.
