    Nitrogen filled tires!
Even if you purchase the plugs from
the Stealer you still save the shop hourly charge if you do the install. Just an option to other parts sources. On-line purchases here from the Stealer are well below walk-in counter costs.

Yes, Online will-call is about 50% of the walk in price

That level of prep/interference work just to access the plugs is pure insanity. Mama mia. :annoyed:

Slightly off topic, but others have mentioned they bought the prepaid maintenance plan. What does that cost? I don't feel like calling my dealer's service dept to ask. I do my own oil changes and tire rotations. Just wondering if prepaid maintenance is the same price/cheaper than paying the $5-700 cost of new plugs.

This truck has high tech components and hard to reach parts that requires toyota specialist and or specialized tool to make it right, this will be very expensive. Although Toyota is a reliable car, no one is perfect, extended warranty is a back up plan that you hope you will never need, but it's there. I do almost all my scheduled maintenance, and still bought extended warranty, I actually did that yesterday. Anyways, for more info please check this thread:

I'm not talking about the extended warranty. I'm talking about the prepaid maintenance plans. I called the dealer today. They charge $515 to do the spark plug job. They charge $549 for the prepaid maintenance plan that covers up to 45k miles. Seems like a no brainer for me to go ahead and buy the maintenance plan.

Verify it includes spark plugs. Some ppl report it doesn't.

It does. They mentioned that as a selling point without me asking.

Good deal. When time comes I'll change them for free. I don't buy that plugs need to be changed before 100k miles. I'll just buy them, print receipt and cancel the order.
