Yesterday day I unplugged my MAF sensor while my truck was running to see if it would shut off to verify the MAF was operating properly. Turned my truck back on and truck is lagging and the 4 Low cel is blinking plus my gas mileage went to crap. What can I do? I cleaned the MAF sensor and still idling and running awful

try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes to 1 hour.. maybe that’ll work?

    Too many, but not enough....
Did you try resetting the battery with everything connected? Disconnect it for a while.

Pull the codes - you may need to reset the fault code(s).

I've never heard of this methodology - what made you think the MAF wasn't working properly?

I agree with AZBoatHauler. Pull codes, first before you reset or unplug the battery. From there report back what you find.

I pulled the MAF sensor trying to get it to snap in the connector. 2 weeks ago I had a p0025 code. I fixed that and the 4 low light started blinking when I reset by unplugging the battery. I turned the engine off and back on 2 or 3 times and the 4 low light quit blinking. It has ran great for the last 2 weeks so I decided to try and get the MAF sensor to snap down all the way and wasn’t thinking and unplugged it while engine was running. Plugged it back in and now 4 low is blinking again. If I can get this resolved I’ll never touch this engine again LOL. Also at red lights or slow traffic my a/c isn’t cooling unless my rpm’s are at 1500 or better. I’m at a loss. Resetting by unplugging the battery isn’t clearing the code. I’ve also cleaned the MAF sensor and still it’s not working right. I’m about to go buy a code reader and see what it says and I’ll post back

How old is your battery? The p0025 code is almost always a voltage issue.

why? not enough cranking amps certainly a possible cause.
