Seems like the factory removed the fogs when they lifted it , is there a plug and play to add? , 2025 lifted PlatinumIMG_9397.jpg

Yes, it’s a DOT compliance thing. The wiring harness is still in the fog light spot, just ouch the ones you want and wire them up.

I used the OEM ones for mine since it was purchased lifted also. Easy install, be sure to mask off the chrome/painted areas on the sides where you remove the fog light bezel. Pretty much just lift and pry and it will pop off. A little harder to put back on, you have to bow it slightly to get the lip to go under the chrome piece.

    Safer, yes. But...
The OEM clear fog/driving/whatever they are supposed to be lights are just short of being useless as actual supplemental light.
    IMO of course.

I will defer to your experience. I've never driven with them. I ended up using a DT splitter cable to connect my aftermarket fog lights to the light bar in my grill so they all run off the same switch. And then I wired that switch to a can bus reader and use my high beam stalk to use them all at once. The DD SS6 "fog" lights work really well for wide periphery illumination. Like high-speed ditch lights. And I get the forward throw from the 20-in light bar on the grill . I don't even really have fog lights anymore.

    Lots of stuff!
I just got my DD SS6's Fogs working on my NOT TUNDRA. I got them for the Tundra but traded the truck and kept them.

When I used them on the Tundra, I had a bit more lift in the front and heavy weight in the back so they were aimed slightly higher than original. You can adjust that angle of the beam during install so blinding oncoming traffic shouldn't be a problem.

I like them because most of the idiots that don't see you coming and want to pull out, will see you now with these yellow lights!

If you have the means to get the BD fogs, I think those have a better cut off for DOT.

Actually I’m wondering if I should get the DDSS6s in yellow/amber instead of white?

Mine are the amber ones. They are basically 1/3 of the Gen 3 Light bar kit that DD sells. You can get them as floods or spots or amber floods. I like the yellow as it such a different yellow to the rest of the truck. Mine is light up like a Christmas tree but most of the lights are white so these really stand out.

Yes, I have them on my '25 Platinum with the TRD lift. I paid $464 on Amazon. The price is always in flux, I have seen them even lower. Worth every penny. I had them on my 2.5 gen Pro as well, so easy decision for me.
Sorry, no pic. I can snap one for you if you'd like.
