what caliber of dog owner lets a dog bark for that long?

Dogs barking without pause. Seen that one. Only solution is to move and get enough land that you can literally, be far from it. We live on a big lot, at least 100 feet space between the house and property lines. There is a family, at far end (200 feet away?) from back side whose dogs bark all the time, day and night. I can't fathom who wants to hear that but people do.

We mow for a couple, very nice place, nice house, clean, but OMGosh(!) when I knock on the door their little dog EXPLODES with barking, clawing and attacking the windows! I once lost composure and asked the lady "how do you put up with that?" She didn't say anything.

Loser family members that pray on the elderly. We see it pretty often in the people we work for and we see it in my family. I have some real winners in my family. SMH.

 

Anybody dealing with continuously barking dogs go to Amazon and look up “bark off” My brother bought one and he bought one for his relatives and he swears by it, it makes some type of ultrasonic sound that the dogs don’t like and once they associate the sound with barking, they stop

I'm annoyed by people that are overly annoyed by trivial things.
Like a thread about annoyances.
I've now annoyed myself.

Seriously though, I don't want to downplay anyone's legitimate grievances, but if people could let things "roll off" a bit more, we'd all be better off for it.
But we live in a world where everyone's feelings are so important, and people get annoyed at the slightest slight.

It's me, me, me selfishness is what it is.

 

The lamest sayings of all time are rustling my jimmies today (not really but in the spirit of the thread lol)
1. I'll start with our reigning champ... the saying, "does that make sense?". It's a redundant saying where 99.9% of the time the person that says it is making complete sense but says it anyway. It kills braincells every time i hear it.
2. When genuinely asking how a person is doing, how their day is going or if anything is new and they respond with "just living the dream!" It seemingly cripples them from the ability to answer in any other way and they say it on repeat whenever asked.

Well, hold up a moment. How often are you genuinely being asked: "how are you?" It's sort of automatic question and same automatic reply.

When people ask me that and it's bad, I say very bad, and explain why. They seem to be very uneasy and puzzled by my reply.

 

"Rustling my jimmies" is a lame saying.
It annoys me.

I operate a business where its very common to have returning clients and the interactions generally are more relaxed and small talk is common. I tend to keep it upbeat if my day is going poorly as not too many like to get trauma dumped on.

 

This is usually my interaction with cashiers worldwide.

 

it was surgically placed by design to inspire you to respond. Now both of our Jimmies are rustled while we live the dream if that makes sense?!

 

People genuinely get upset if you reply to that question with anything other than "good".

I know I would much rather hear "Living The Dream!" on repeat from my coworkers than to hear about their prostate exam or how horrible the prep for their colonoscopy was. (Usually in vivid detail.)
I really don't need to know and don't really care that much.

Since this is automotive social media, here's what annoys me:

Y'know how the right lane often doubles up as a turn lane as well? People would stop in the middle of it and block right turns, even though they could have easily hugged closer to the left and dump truck could get by. Well, no. They stop in the middle, with their tiny prius midget and block. And then green turns on and they're still standing.
