i’ve been to 2 real concerts: aerosmith & ac/dc & never paid more than $50. Get the cheap seats & escort a hot chick up to the front. They’ll let you through further than expected. The best concerts were the amateurs trying their first gigs. Was a part of 3 different bars that had jam sessions.

 

If you get it, I bet one of us scoops up your cap real fast haha

Pierce the Veil in Dallas on June 13th. I bought those damn tickets in December when they opened and they're selling for cheaper now. Section right in front of the pit aisle seats. I also got 3 passes for the VIP lounge and upgraded parking. Also it turns out you don't get paid till after the concert. What a scam.

 

Man, I used to listen to Pierce the Veil in my high school days. That and plenty other "emo" bands back in that phase of my life.

 

It's unreal what concerts cost these days.

 

Just another reason to go to punk shows in dive bars. $15 max

Used to be soda pop’s, but i guess its black rifle, now. Downtown boerne on saturday nights.

 

I still want to try that pizza place behind the 4wd shop we checked out a while back. I think it was Boerne. Maybe Kendalia?

We’ve got a cool venue here called the hall. Schmedium size indoor venue with an upper terrace. Probably 20 shows a year of nobodies and about 2-3 great up and coming bands that haven’t made it yet. Tickets are $30-40 max.

 

Or that. We’ve got several venues just like that too. Better than a dive but you do have to pay for it. The sound is 10x better in those concert halls than a dive bar too. Drinks are twice the price tho. Anyways, plenty of other options to hear live music than pay $200 for some overrated band thats ‘popular’. And let’s not forget the Ticketmaster service charge of $35 or whatever they’re charging these days.

I’ve go a 2A/20A battery charger to maintain my batteries. Is my 100w solar panel 3x stronger @ 6A? @13+v



i run my fridge through 12v since it seems to have its own inverter. But the battery charger only runs on 120v, but i’ve jumped the ‘house battery for 20ish mins & kept the fridge running another day to get home. I’m talking myself into getting a second ‘house’ battery & an isolator.

the battery seems to be charging itself swimmingly.

 

May be a way to get a 2nd tundra for a good deal.

 

you’ve never seen ‘the chase’? it was filmed in your back yard. Mom & dad can be seen in dads ‘56 chevy in urban cowboy, and his ‘89 f150 can be seen in ‘the chase’.

The clear is failing, and chipping in spots. Would buffing around where the clear is chipping help to keep it from chipping more?

Y'all should already know I am clueless on paint, I mean have you seen either of my rigs?

If the clear coat has failed then there usually isn't anything you can do unfortunately. Once it started on our Corolla it just slowly got worse and worse.

The best thing you can do now would be to give the other areas some love. Meaning the panels where it hasn't failed.

 

Couldn't he sand and re-clear?

 

It's earned that patina. You leave it be.

 

Urban Cowboy. I love that movie. Bud’s Ford pickup truck is awesome. The bull ride scene is quite pleasant as well.
