Just purchased a2019 gen 2.5 tundra crew max. Questions I don’t care for the offset or possible tire size . The wheels stick out a bit more than I like looks and paint damage . What size tire do you recommend ? And what rim offset currently has a 17 inch method wheel with a 285/70/17 falken tire on it . IMG_6874.jpg IMG_6873.jpg IMG_6871.jpg

Yeah I'm swapping my wheels for various reasons but offset is one of them. They look bro'd out sticking out too far lol

This appears to be -20 to -30. Maybe it has spacers?

Have you checked for spacers? Those are way too far out for that size.

I run +30 on 20x9” fuels with 33x12.50 and they only poke out about an inch.

I accually have not pulled a rim yet . I know that the rims are method mr703 17x8.5 +o offset . I talked to method directly and was told that there are only 2 options from method for this truck . One is +0 offset and the other option is +35mm which insets approx 1.5 inches . Method also told me that +0 is the most common size .

I’m actually looking at a +40mm from Method , but an 18x9 , not an 18x8 like the factory.

This is effectively a +18 with a 12.5” tire (+50 wheel and 1.25” spacer) it looks like you have the 0 offset

Do they rub pssshhh... They used to but not only because of the offset, they are 37x12.5r17s and I did a bunch of suspension work and some cutting to fix all the rubbing issues. Long story short I have an adjustable UCA and a bunch of custom alignment work to push the tire away from the cab mount. Also yes it is lifted about 2.5" inches
