Might be true in the '25-up Limited, but my '24 has it as part of a package, not standard.

Hey now, you of all people, Blueprint is sexy too!

Good thing you kept your Platinum badging and wheels or it could be mistaken for a lowly SR5 TRD Sport. ;):D

I'm gonna have my EGR flares color matched here shortly.
    (They're currently MGM.)

I am from Regina Saskatchewan and just had my engine replaced on my 2022 Tundra with 51,000 KM. Dropped her off after work Wednesday and picked her up at the end of the day yesterday and drove her home and into the garage. This is a bit unsettling but Taylor Toyota has repeatedly reassured me this was needed. No one made it clear about warranty. Can someone explain what happens with warranty? Thank you

If replaced in warranty you get the remainder of the powertrain warranty. If replaced out of warranty you get the standard 12k miles repair warranty.

After that you are insuring motor 2 does not have the same failure defect as engine 1.

It's called Toyota free " screw the customer we don't care about you" plan

Thanks!. I would be interested in knowing if others are having collateral issues with their vehicles. When you have to pull an engine out and out a new one in there has to be some increased risk that something else will fail. I guess time will tell.

Everyone is hoping the issue was manufacturing debris and not a design defect. Nobody but Toyota really knows. And hope is not a plan.

As 24s and 25s and eventually replacements start accumulated significant miles it will become apparent

I agree that there would be information not being shared with public as to what really happened but if what you're suggesting is true, those that have 2022 engines not in the recall could be at greater risk.

You can report your experience to this thread, and check out what others have experienced:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/post-long-block-replacement-experiences.153712/

A recent poster has roughly 5K miles on his new engine with no issues.
Granted, these are still short term reports, and yes, ultimately time will tell.
