Toyota basically says either grade works. I DO NOT believe that the engine with last any longer with 5w30 than 0w20 to be completely honest.

 

Got my upgraded HVAC fan in last night (was #14 from FA), just got it in and cleared out some mice mess from that. I'll be testing it in a little bit.

5k oil change. Also dumped the catch can. It’s got 5k miles of daily boosted runs on it.

 

How was the catch can?

 

That's less than I get out of mine at 2500 miles N/A. Interesting. But I also have 224k on mine.

 

Installed these ARK splash guards today… took me a little bit to get them on as the holes didn’t line up too well. I also didn’t drill the last hole, might use some strong adhesive or just leave it lol.

 

Looks good! I've only had mine a week now, but no issues or concerns with them. You're good to drill those two holes with the recommended size drill bit, there was nothing behind the metal to be concerned about hitting, but make sure to double check before you drill if you go that route.

On it? No. It was all inside of it like it should be.

 

Viitro and PGW are a combined company that manufacture OEM glass.

Yup. It was $218 for the recalibration.
Total in parts and labor and recalibration comes out to be a whopping $1408.00

 

Yeah, everything lined up pretty well. I did have to push a little on the bottom to get the lower holes aligned enough for the pins to seat in, but overall it was pretty simple to do and aligned nicely. The one thing I had the most trouble with was on the passenger side after removing the OEM shields there was a skinny plastic liner that was maybe 6 inches long that wraps around the metal lip of the fender to prevent rubbing of the hoses/lines against the metal. It was held in by 2 of the clips from the OEM shields. I put that liner back when I installed the ARK shields, but it took a few minutes to try and align those two holes with that liner and the ARK shields due to the tight space and the hoses/lines being in the way.

I think it went right here if I am recalling correctly. I don't recall anything in the instructions about that liner either.

Yeah. Felt it to my bones.
The other reputable place was 1.5hr drive away and they were asking 11 or 1200 for oem glass. $900 for pilkinson aftermarket glass. But i would have to have someone drive a second car to come pick me up. Then take me back to pick it up later or next day for me. So for an extra $200 that come with a loaner and 45 mins drive. I went with the more expensive option but save me lots of time.

Just finished putting in the bedrug impact mat. I didnt wanted the xlt classic. Just a mat so my knee dont hurt when crawling in the bed. It was $50 off on realtruck website. So why not.

 

yup I remember having to line that up. It was driving me nuts for a few mins lol but eventually got it lined up, and the bottom holes I had to tug on it a bit. I do like these though and way better than the stock liners. Worth the $ imo!
