They should have at least added a transmission cooler after adding an extra set of wheels to spin.

Please educate me, what's the purpose of 6x6?
Other than looking bad-ass but whip-ass shit MPG?

Another axle could add additional payload. However, you would be using that in conjunction with a frame, brakes and other components that would also support extra payload. Also could add another set of driven wheels, assuming they set it up that way and didn’t just add a slave axle.

Ah, OK. That make sense, if setup correctly, the additional axle(s) should add the additional payload.
However, I think the most we have seen are not done correctly but just adding slave axle for the look?

Looked at the listing for this one, it is a true 6x6 with all wheels driven.

I just read the whole thing, this is one of the rare column shifter (not my like, but hey, it is rare) and this damn bed is almost 9ft long....
Regular 2021 SR5 is at least 19.5 ft, I don't want to image how long this truck is.....
But one of the biggest let down with the whole setup might be, it is still on stock engine, 381hp trying to drag all that extra weight....
At least put SC on it, or turbo, or twin charge.....381 is just too little for so much more weight....

The vid above looked to have the third axle driven (you can just see the pinion and a hint of a driveshaft). It wouldn’t make sense to me to be a TAG axle, but not much about 6x6 pickups makes sense :monocle: But I still like it! :D

Oh, don’t be so cynical. I’m sure it will see plenty of curbs, front yards, and gravel road shoulders with the turning radius of two football fields. :D

Column shifters are rare? Mine is column shifter. Also I'm 8ft. His is only 1ft longer than mine.

With the listing saying 4x4, I thought second axle was not driven.

A few... Definitely more than 2
There is a drive shaft for the second axle, but, from my quick viewing it has parallel 4-link with no visible panhard bar? Seems like a bad idea to me.

But the 6x6 is a crewmax, not a DC. So it’s like, TWO feet longer… :p

And ya, column shifter became more rare when they introduced the 38 gallon tank - you could get one or the other from the factory.

Speaking of that, I don't know if they upgrade the fuel tank, or dual tank.
That thing is gonna drink gas like crazy and even a 38G is not gonna last.

I do, in the right lane.
50-55mph gives great mpg numbers on warm days(especially. with ac off)

I'd rather see a 6 door than 6 wheel. Like a double double cab with the short bed off crewmax. Seems like it would be about same length as 6 wheel overall.
I'd love an 8 seater truck.

Why not just eliminate rear bed and turn it into Ford excursion alike?

    I like open bed.
Also you can already get 3 rows seating in many SUVs but trucks are rare.
