Never fiddled with seat belts b4, but i'm having an issue with the belt not wanting to release for me as i'm in the middle of soaking my belts per PHM's sbelt refurb. Is there anything to watch out for or is just a matter of 1 14mm bolt, unclip connector, and remove? Disconnect the battery too? Thanks folks

Dude hasn't signed on since October 2020, I think the 'Rona got him.

The safety inside of these, that makes it lock, is typically a cam, I believe. The only way for the cam to let go once it engages is to let some belt feed back in, i.e. release the tension that's allowing the cam to lock into the belt.
