    Thanks for pointing this out. I'll see if I can move the ground, not sure why it was connected like that to begin with--just kept it that way when I got the new battery in. As for the other wire to the left, that's what I originally tried doing, but couldn't get that nut off the lug--its a bit rusted and on pretty tight. I tried a little PB blaster and to loosen it when I had the terminal disconnected from the positive post and couldn't get any leverage to crack it loose since it was floating (I think I tried it even connected after disconnecting the negative post as well).
