It’s not as big as Walmart, more automotive focused I’d say and no clothes- about 30 years older than Walmart too.

I'm starting to get more and more interested in chrome baby moon hubcaps on my daily driver (21 Corolla silver).

Unfortunately I'd either have to find some 5x100 steels that are already "clip ready", or retrofit my steels with clips. Since VW still makes their wheels this way you can buy those clips online separately.

I really do like that retro look on modern vehicles and may just dig into this as a future project.

baby moon poverty caps? Or spun aluminum aero discs? My vote is for the latter.

but i saved a pair of 8.5” trailer caps while on a dog walk.

I like the spun aluminum more.

I can buy those now for my wheel size, but they're the full wheel cover, and not the smaller lug cover size. I think the full size would look to much like a UFO.

i dated a chick with a yaris, stuffed 225’s on the stock steelies (15’s, i think) & got a stiffer swaybar. Car handled on rails & the aero discs made up for the wider tires in highway tires. It was a base model, so it was light & fun, and i ducted the foglight housings to the brakes, but i never felt much of a difference. I could outrun one buddies ‘99 civic SI, and hang with another buddies s2k (but he was a pretty gentle driver). Loved that car, and had drilled the intake tube (before the filter) for a siphon break, but after we broke up she still managed to total it in flood water (interior), broke my heart more than the breakup. It was a slushbox, but the manual mode wasnt half bad. Peak economy car other than the crx. I think a 15.9 1/4 mile & 28mpg.

Rotated my tires, and dad always heckles me about running 42/38 f/r tire pressures, cause he runs 48/45 & i’m just wasting gas…

    IMG_0728.jpg

Can yall see the center worn out of what used to be the rears? Dropped down to 40/36.

also, did i mention my drivers front brake is dragging? Anyone know of somewhere to get better brakes than powerstop, but cheaper than the SOS 6 piston? I bet thats where the 2mpg went that ive blamed on the cap.

Yeah. I just saved a picture of a normal Corolla then saved a picture of the wheels and sent it to him. He pays the $20 monthly subscription for chatgpt.

Thank you, the wife digs it! It's so much better than the I-4 she had in her sentra! Fuck that thing! The Rav is spunky compared to that ridiculous thang.

    This though? This shit sucks

Step side camper shell: You’ll never be able to get replacement parts, but the damn things are rarer than hen’s teeth, so maybe it’s worth it to someone.

Some reason my video stopped 8 seconds in, so this is where I started recording again. Sadly we lost the jump at the begining of the lap.

Was trying to figure out if that was Toad the Wet Sprocket or Live or Gin Blossoms. Not unconvinced they were all the same band, just like Candlebox and Collective Soul.

This is one of the 5-6 cars I've got on my list of "If a deal comes across my desk, I'll buy it, no questions asked".

How tall are you again? I've seen a few at Caffeine & Octane, looks similar to a lot of other Italian sports cars where you need to be 5'10 or shorter to ride comfortably in it.

Recently purchased this https://a.co/d/6LH9fIS which is similar to techstream. I purchased the unit with Toyota/Lexus preinstalled. It had mixed reviews. At the time it was on sale $150. I can purchase other manufacturer software in the future if I need it. I figured i give it a try since Amazon is great for returning stuff.

I damaged both front ABS cables on the wife's GX while replacing the UCA and CV axles. The scan tool confirmed both front wheel sensors had a zero reading while driving. Replaced both ABS cables from local pull and pay. No more ABS lights.

I was also able to complete a zero point calibration and turned off DRL.
