Love it. So stealthy. I love that my 25 doesn’t have the active spoiler or shutters. There is so much space for activities behind the bumper/grill.

Forgive my ignorance on the benefit. Obviously it’s to have/maintain cooler trans temps, but are you guys having overheating issues?

Oh wow ok. What’s the ideal range? I am about to go through 120 degree summers here in Las Vegas. I guess I should watch my JB4 app more often.

It'll stay in that range as mine. I see 110 or so where I'm at in SoCal and visit family in Yuma and Imperial, CA where they see 120 as well. It'll get in the 220s and stay there even when empty. I'm shooting for 180-190 readings.

I just looked at my door jamb and it says L4A0F. The operating range is 175-225 degrees. After that, components may degrade. I’m definitely curious now. Did you guys figure out plumbing on your own or are there kits with the right length of hoses already? Do they have -AN fittings?

I DIY’d my oil cooler on my GT-R and hope the plumbing is similar to it. Basically put it inline the system right? Making PTFE -AN oil cooler lines was fun.

Nope...saw no need/advantage on such a short run and low psi line.

    Yup.
Although I’m going to bypass for now the radiator cooler. This will be the single one only. I have a thermostatic bypass that’s going inline as well.

if I need to upgrade to a larger size I now have the provisions for it.

Hope it works for you. Seeing 208° with rain and 55° ambient temp is not for me. Picked up some trans fluid hose I liked better than what I got before. 400psi Gates hose has thicker wall that was appealing. Will slap it on as soon as it stops raining.

This is certainly not the most exciting mod on this thread but it sure made things easier for me. I had to lower the spare on my Platinum and getting the hook lined up with the shaft to make that work required way too much time and ay too many swear words. So I made this mod.

I will admit freely that I stole this idea from the Tacoma forum and used it on my Tacoma before I upgraded to my Tundra. ( and my brother in law, a Chevy guy, says that they have a tube built in to their truck) but I made a modification that makes it really easy to raise and lower the spare.
I took an 14 inch section of a 2 inch PVC pipe (my Home Depot sells them in two foot sections), cut a notch on one end that is one inch long and 1/2 inch deep, and rounded off the corners of the notch so it fits over the shaft where the hook is supposed to fit in and rests easily in the curve of the bracket that supports the shaft.. I secured it to the crossmember with two zip ties and drilled a couple small holes in the rail that supports the shaft and used a small zip tie to keep the tube aligned with the shaft. The hook slides in the “bumper” slot and is directed into the slot. It might align better if a made a little notch where the tube rests on the crossmember, but I’m thinking I’m not going to need it often enough to make it worthwhile to take it apart to make that change.

    Nothing in particular.

Aluminum angle and some flat bar aluminum.
    Literally eyeballed the positions.
The nice thing is the two center most supports for the bumper that connect to the core support are perfectly positioned to hold this thing.

Yeah, I ordered the Derale 13016 hose which had thicker walls like the OE lines. Stupid expensive per foot, but I only used a few inches to transition from the braided AN lines and magnafine filter to the OE hard lines.
