This is the wiring under the fuse blocks in the e-bay.
I lost headlights then other night and had to run to walmart and buy a cheap set of off road lights just to get home. I popped the hood Thursday and saw a mouse come out of the fuse blocks. Set a sticky trap and caught mom and dad. Today i pulled it all apart and there was quite a nest in there, along with stripped and chewed through wires.
Ill splice the wires but will need new pins as some are chewed right up to the pin.
Now my question: what type of pin assortment do i get? Are there toyota dedicated pins? Or are they typed by 3rd party manufacturers? How to identify the pins I need?
    Thx!

Tagging @daveeasa, if anyone can tell you, I think he's the guy.

Sorry to hear about your rodent issues.

Consider getting some Honda rodent tape and wrapping it all up once you fix.

I guess this explains some of the shit you've had going on, eh?

Ok, had not heard of the rodent tape, good to know! So glad it was just the headlights out and not the EFI.

I can try to identify terminals from photos. Google image search also works quite well there. For sure they will be possible to source but more than a few types are used so you want to be sure you get it exactly right, then there are different sizes of each terminal type based on wire gauge, typically 2-4 sizes.

Is it possible to source the damaged portion from a junkyard harness?

if damage too big, car insurance might be able to cover it.

If you have comprehensive coverage. Mine was covered. Almost $8,500. Might end up totaled for your year, though.

Im pretty confident i can weed through all these. There are some with just a minor amount of insulation damage so wrapping with e-tape. Everything seemed to be running fine, except for headlights, so i hope it will be pretty straightforward.

Sorry to hear about your mice problems.
I read you got some cheap off-road lights at Walmart to get you home that night.
In the moderate term, could you buy the H4 harness on Amazon to bypass the fuse box until you figure fixing or replacement?
You could run a fuse tap off a functioning circuit to trigger the relay. Drive with headlights on all the time until you get the fuse box figured out.

Yep, i actually considered that, and will likely go that route with heavier gauge wire just to freshen things up and get more power to the lights. Good argument for that in this article here from Daniel Stern. But now that i have it all apart, im going to fix all the other exposed wires before i put it back together.
I was so blessed that Walmart had a set of lights with a wiring harness. And then doubly blessed that the state trooper that passed me didnt pull me over. It was a 45 min drive home.

I don't recognize that style from the face, can you get a few more photos of that one?

@Puppypunter may have seen it before.

If you do reach the point of needing to de-pin and re-pin some of the connectors, if you could post the 5 digits that should be on each connector like attached pic circle. Since the first 5 digits of Toyota connectors are mostly 90980, knowing the last 5 will get you connector part #. With that, we can look up that connector in Toyota's 06 Wire Harness Repair Manual where it will give us pin size needed or a way to order a repair terminal wire by part # if you choose.

That connector # is 11615. This drawing appears to be the connector, but doesn’t seem to give clear how to differentiate the 6mm one from the other two. Also, it doesn’t look like i can order just the pin, but need to order the repair wire connected. These are not cheap. If i could locate the pins aftermarket, that would be great. Otherwise i guess ill reuse the pins and solder new wire to them.

You can order the pins aftermarket. I’m not where I can look them up, perhaps @daveeasa or @Puppypunter can assist or once I get back to a computer.
