Please leave comments if you have installed the new JL audio custom stealth box and sub for 3rd gen tundras. Looking for feedback on the sound quality since it's a shallow mount sub.

I don't have one installed in my truck but one of my friends has it. The 12" is nice and hits pretty hard. I think this one comes down to preference. I had a single 10" in my 2021 and the 12" sounds real good. Putting in 2-10's in my truck now cause I was convinced. Sounds good but I think either way you can't go wrong as long as you have a good amp going to it.
What amp do you plan to run if you get it?

    What’s wrong with stock?
I installed one two weeks ago. Still in the tuning process. But it does hit hard. I’m running it with an Audiocontrol d5-1300 and Jl c3-650’s all the way around. Running as components front and rear passive. I find myself turning the bass down as the amp runs to much power to the sub.

I didn’t want to put a sub in that would bounce around. Still have some room for storage. No regrets.

I sound deadened the doors, the back wall and the plastic around the bottom of the rear seat. Car still shakes. I turn it down because it’s too much for me. And yes the mirror shakes.

I installed the JL audio C3-650’s in. The front and rear. I installed them as components both front and rear. I don’t see any degradation of the front stage, and my passengers appreciate the better sound quality. I set them up using the JL crossovers as passive. I know everyone thinks I should have gone active but I don’t think it’s necessary. The sq is awesome and the system hits hard when it needs to.
