Resting up after an early morning walk...

 

Spending the better part of two days bouncing from the regular vet for x-rays, to the veterinary hospital that's 40 minutes away, back home, then back to the veterinary hospital early the next for an ultra sound, and ultimately more x-rays, then finally getting to come home that afternoon was very stressful for him and had this guy worn out. We were worried that this bone head ate something he shouldn't have and had an obstruction in his belly but fortunately it was pneumonia and didn't require surgery. He was sick for a few days last week and was drooling a lot and the vet thinks he ended up with that drool in his lungs causing the pneumonia. This was the ride home and he NEVER relaxes like this in a car so he must have been exhaust and a little drugged out still. Fingers crossed he's going to be OK.

 

Took Pepper to the coast a few weeks ago. She is around 6 months old now.

 

She's beautiful!

 

Hope he is back to himself soon!

You’re a week too late!

 

I’m in Prescott for a wedding. Offroad in Sedona in September! I’ll do T2S again one day.

 

I see all dogs as beautiful, and unlike humans, who are usually reflective of the person inside, they are almost always sweet inside as well, unless of course, you get a nasty little shit that has been abused for his entire life prior to you taking him home, and it takes a year to get him to be nice. He bit my wife again (nearing the twenty mark) on Sunday past. She didn't bleed, but punctured. She (my wife) hasn't learned him yet, as he hasn't bitten me in months, and the only reason he did, was cause I was shaving his ass.

 

I'm sure the dog is sweet inside, but handsome is not the word I'd use, hence: debatable. There are dogs that i consider handsome, such as huskies, golden retriever, and border collies. Then there are bulldogs, rottweilers, and chihuahuas that I don't call handsome, but if i see one in person, my reaction is: "Good dog! Yes you are, yes you are!!" And they love me!(most of the time, we find common tongue)

 

Are we talking about the best dog breeds now?
The best dog breeds are the ones that look like dogs.
