Did you ever get yours changed out? You got the one with the block off plate, right? Or it was the shroud/transmission lines that you were dealing with? You got that all squared away?

I got the block off plate but I wanted to get the longer sleeve so that I can just use 2 clamps instead of the dummy plate and 4 clamps. I still need to do that and put the TRD accelerator in.

Got the Stillen ordered with the AFe dry filter and TRD inlet. Thanks to @TacomaTRD4x402 for the lid upgrade! Hopefully it will do something, although I know intakes are mostly snake oil. This one seems promising based on reviews here and the design. I plan on the DD exhaust later in the summer. I should wait and put both on at the same time. I do currently have the Yotawerkz tune. Idk if that will help at all. Just thinking out loud.

Awesome! Glad the lid made it to you. Definitely do it all at once. That's what I'm currently doing with a bunch of suspension mods. It's painful to wait but definitely gonna be worth it. Try n do a before n after video of your intake+exhaust.

I got a video on YT of my Stillen+DD 8"

Not ruining it for you by sharing this since it sounds wayyy better in person.

Haha no worries. Idk if I can wait till I get the exhaust. I always need to tinker! Do you have a tune?

Sounds great. I can’t figure out if I want the 8 or 10. I almost never tow. Do drive with the fam a good amount. Want to still be able to have conversation. But I also want to notice it when I hit it.

No tune here but that may end up on my list soon.

The 8 isn't bad at all when your light on the pedal. It only really is loud when you step on it. I'm not running the resonator that's included and I can't really hear too much drone. It doesn't bother me too much

I’m leaning towards the 8. Don’t feel like dealing with the 5-0 either. But I feel like they leave trucks alone for the most part.

Haha I’m sure. My tune makes the throttle so much better. Tow/haul mode is pretty beastly right now. Truck should move pretty good! Might reach out and see if the tuners can adjust the tune for the added parts.
