HVAC leaking excessive amount of water

You guys seen this before? Seems like an excessive amount of coming out of the AC drain tube. I understand the whole AC condensation thing but Ive never seen this amount…..just bought the truck Sunday so it only has a little over 100 miles on. Maybe part of the breaking in process? No warning lights and AC seems ok. Called the dealer twice and sent pics but they are taking their sweet time getting back to me so I’m going to drop by.

 

It must be pretty damn humid at your location you probably have the AC down to a very low request.

 

Probably high humidity coupled with the recirculation vent being open to the outside air

 

I'd be super glad ac unit can evacuate that much humidity, instead of pumping it into the cabin!

 

Part of me agrees that it’s kicking ass and dehumidifying like a boss but honestly not that humid, San Diego here…been low 70s and running the AC on auto around 70 degrees

Never seen that amount either but I haven't had a brand new vehicle since '01.

 

I've seen that periodically on mine, not often at all, once in a blue moon. I did see it more when the truck was brand new, less now.

 

I'd be glad its working that well!

 

It is the AC that doesn't drip water that is the worry, not this!

 

High relative humidity, absolutely. The muffler also has a drain hole and shoots quite a bit of water on warm up.
