Yes!, let's make a list and follow my lead if you want.

1. Real chili has beans and meat in it, otherwise it's just a soupy paste.
2. Seafood is disgusting, especially anything with grippy appendages.
3. Steak should always be served rare, 120 internal max.
4. Real chrome only belongs on classic vehicles of yesteryear.

I agree with most of your list and I apologize for overcooking my tritip.

But ketchup can just strait fuck off. And Seafood is amazing.

Of course not, ketchup has its intended needs set forth by the gods. Fries, scrambled eggs, burgers and such. But not dogs, I won't allow that.

Been laughing my ass off… great topics this week.

As a kid, ketchup was a must for hot dogs. Even as an adult I didn’t think otherwise. Then about a decade ago I worked with a lady from the east coast and she linked ketchup on hot dogs to satan worship. I poked fun at that as much as possible and then tried a hot dogs without it and the seas parted.

Not only have I never looked back, but I have been replacing ketchup nearly everywhere. Don’t use it on burgers; that’s what A1 or BBQ sauce is for. It’s a good mask on french fries that were poorly salted by the chef, but I prefer a good ranch these days for fries.

It is still delicious on eggs and hash browns when you mix them all together. But still needs a good hot sauce to finish the deal.

 

Yes I am a ketchup hater. Even the no corn syrup ketchups. I just don't like it.

 

I have always believed no two people have the same taste buds so I try and never pass any judgment on people's food preferences. As far as hotdogs go, I prefer a traditional yellow mustard with nothing else. The acidity cuts through the fat of a hotdog bringing it together nicely.

This may be more of a comment on American food in general but our food uses the cheapest lowest quality ingredients wherever possible. Things don't taste right and high fructose corn syrup and various emulsifiers are in everything to mask the chemical concoctions that make up so much of what is eaten these days.

Back to the ketchup topic, I don't really use it much but if I must have ketchup, I'll use Primal Kitchen ketchup. They have a spicy version that is pretty good. I just can't use the high fructose corn syrup stuff that gets sold in most place. Tastes nasty and chemically to me.

I find myself looking much more closely at the labels on stuff I buy these days as I'm consciously trying to reduce the amount of fake stuff/chemicals I'm putting into my body.

 

Reference and perspective... both are actually valid reasons to obtain photographic evidence of the appearance of the person in question
