The texture makes it less slick, which I like, but I hear you.

Would you do a crewmax sort bed, crewmax 6 ft bed, or the double cab 6 ft?

Do you actually want the stuff in the Limited or would you be happy in an SR5?

Categorically speaking, aren't all these the same thing? Minus the "sport mode" of the crocs that is rarely used that is.

Circling back here, I played the clip for my wife wanting to know if she heard it. She did. And for weeks she has been complaining about her brakes squeaking and I kept telling her I couldn't hear it. Deadpan she said to me, no wonder you can't hear my brakes squealing.

CrewMax short. I like the interior space (and the 3rd Gen has less anyways), plus I already had to jackhammer 6" out of my garage to fit my current truck, so no longer bed. Yeah, I would like a Limited, I keep my trucks a long time so this might be close to the last new one I buy. Also, I did some builds on Toyota's site and by the time I optioned an SR5 up where I would like it, it's damn near the same.

    That all makes sense.

The SR5 TRD OR Premium I initially agreed to buy was only 900 bucks less than the limited I'm in now. Worth it for the upgraded headlights and ventilated seats alone.

Fair warning, the vented seats are a bit loud. IDGAF if it means my balls are cool, though.

What say you? I work with a guy from DFW area who says it better not have beans in it. I never even knew chili with no beans existed before I met him a few years back.

I've heard no bean chili called Texas style before. Apparently they're passionate enough for the reputation to reach me way up in Wyoming. Lol

It's only been in recent years that chili cookoffs have a chili with beans category. Used to be no beans allowed.

Think the wife’s recipe has 2-3 beans with chicken, bacon and peanut butter.

    No beef:nuclear:

Proper chili always has beans. If it doesn't then it is more of a chili sauce to be used for chili cheese hot dogs, fries, etc.

That is not chili. In fact, I don't even know WTF that is. Probably tastes great, but it's not chili.

For real. I'm always game for recipes that use peanut butter where it's least expected.

Correct. The no bean chili isn't for a bowl at all.

My God man, with the wife's 2 Cadillacs, she constantly complained about brake squeak noise.
    I never liked driving them.
I just figured she heard it when she first started moving, you know, rust on the discs.
But she took both several times to the dealer under warranty and they couldn't fix it.

I've yet to hear complaint about anything (at least vehicle-related) since she bought the BMW X1.

Beating a dead horse here but one last observation on the no bean chili. Isn't that the same thing as bolognese, but with a different seasoning mix. It's really just meat and tomato's when you boil it all down to the main ingridents.

    Ahh, okay. Interesting.

I like saying “actually” around arrogant pricks that think they know it all. :notsure:

But I agree it can be an “over the top” comment

No clue. Though I've seen the word bolognese but never dug into it.

Based on ingredients in this article, it might be a little different.
