Hello Proud 1st Gen owners :) I recently pulled my stored (from winter) out & subject dilemma has occurred. Reading some of the forums here- sounds like it could possibly be a A/C relay.. I looked in the under hood fuse box and can’t identify a relay related to this. Have attached a pix of the underside of fuse box cover. Any input is Greatly Appreciated ! Kind Regards

Yes, relay would be my first stop...

I believe on your Gen, you won't have a specific relay for just the AC and will need to check the Heater relay as it cover the AC as well...

Have you or anyone done some timing belt work recently ? Sometimes folks will forget to put or tighten the ground at AC compressor.

As was mentioned, your Heater relay is a good place to start and as noted on your fuse cover, it will be the bottom one labeled HEATER

This was the case with two or three cases I helped out with here in the past. I can dig up one of them with pics if it helps @Inky

Yeah, check the ground screw on top of the compressor and make sure it has good contact and is tight. I went nuts trying to fix mine until I noticed that screw was loose one day. Tightened it up and all better.
