exhaust cutoff questions, dump near spare

So im wanting to dump my exhaust. I have a dirty deeds but do not like the stock exhaust pipe out the passenger side and was looking for a place to cut it as s dump out.

If I cut it near the spare, is that an issue for heat or where is the recommended place to dump

 

I had my OEM tailpipe dumped just over the axle.

Then installed the DD exhaust. Even with the resonator installed there was still a significant amount of droning.

Added a new OEM tailpipe and the drone was gone.

Just something you may want to consider.

We offer a longer Helmholtz resonator which compensates for the length cut off. It brings the drone back down to how it was/wasn’t before cutting it.
