This is awesome, and a lot of work. I plan to dechrome the front grill surround, too. It looks like a sad, bad handlebar moustache. What were the designers trying to emphasize?

The grill is a silver gray black, so I plan to use a camo wrap which uses black and silver shapes. Wraps only last a few years but if covered with PPF, paint protection film as used on clear bra covers, it will protect the vinyl for the long term. So, the wrap and clear bra will be my first mods. A new Leer topper and BedRug are on order, so all should be done in a month.

Last month I bought the new-to-me 2023 CrewMax Limited with 10,750 miles. Would much rather have had a 6'5" bed but this is what came in at the dealer, and it was otherwise perfect for our needs with all the best tow features. Sold my 1st Gen to better handle the new-to-us 2021 Lance model 1985 TT.

We live in the Colorado mountains so the Army Green is perfect. The wife's Highlander is almost the same color.

When you look at the wheels on this Tundra, do you get that the designer was gender neutral? I like silver, I like black. I can't make up my mind, so let's get together....

Toyota designers, gosh. I have a very low regard for marketing people. Most in corporate are fresh out of college.

IMO, they rarely know their product or their buyers. The only cling to their prejudices. The output is garbage.

Do you not know there are wheel options based on trim?

I do, but I bought the truck used and that's what came on it. I do have a set of 17" FJ Cruiser wheels with Nokian studded tired mounted for winter use. There are some great aftermarket tires out there but buying a new set isn't worth it for me now and I doubt I could sell the ones I have for very much.

Very nice truck you have, Toyota1234.
