    Good morning everyone.

Boy do I have a mess in my garage. Let me say this, battery powered impact guns are amazing.

The steering on my truck...not as tight as it once was. Not a bad thing with some aspects of life, but steering isn't one of those things. I figured that instead of just replacing the tie rods...why not the pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod ends, and why not the lower ball joints.
Well, I have met my match fellas. For some reason I cannot separate the steering knuckle from the lower ball joints...and I have given it the college try (heat, hammer, more heat, bigger hammer).

    IMG_7770.jpg
    IMG_7768.jpg

Well I decided not to lose my cool and just move on for now. Rod ends came out easy. Big difference between factory and replacement.
    IMG_7771.jpg

All right, next up was the pitman arm. Busting the nut loose wasn't bad with a proper 3' breaker bar and the crowsfoot I ordered. That was going good until I noticed this.
    IMG_7769.jpg
Yep, some good engineering here. I have to partially remove the steering box, remove the nut and arm, install the new one, and then reinstall the steering box. Then torque to 188 #ft.

At this point, kinda wondering if I should replace the wheel bearings while I have it all broken down. They aren't bad, but not sure I wanna get this deep into it again. We will own this truck for another 2 years (11 years old). I can get both bearing hubs to my door for 400.00.

I worked from 1pm yesterday until 4:45pm and just laughed. The wife made a really nice ham dinner so I showered up and put it out of my mind.

Busy day ahead. Taking the Mustang into Ford this morning. Had a CEL come on the other day. Looks like my wastegate has failed open. Oh well. Warranty time. I was wondering if something was going on. Normally at 60 mph I can break the tires lose. Not anymore. Guess when you drop 250 hp it has that effect.

So I'm out of a vehicle now. :rofl:Then my 16 year old daughter pops off "well, you can always rely on my Corolla S...."

    She isn't wrong. :D

    Good Morning Tundra family

Today is a great day. I was thinking about every Bad decision I ever made. It was all due to my disobedience. Thank God for a new day and a day full of HIS promises

    @ColoradoTJ
I have my 2017 x50i in the shop and they gave me a 2025 530i until they get it right
My warranty is expired so that’s that. At least you are still under warranty.

yesterday I was in service came home abs still was in service taking care of the family. At the end of the day I watched Den of Thieves one and Two

I still disagree with the shootout in traffic but I guess it was great for entertainment purposes

I have started Den of Thieves twice and can't get into it. I may skip it and give 2 a try.

Two is not as good as the first one to me
So if your struggling with one I doubt 2 would be better but I could be wrong

Hey Chris, if you have an air hammer you might try hammering against the side of the steering knuckle. An air hammer will work a lot of times when a regular Hammer will not. Just an idea

Just kidding. My luck the bullet would bounce off and hit the king shock.
