What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

These were standard on all 2007-2021 trucks. If it’s missing in yours, sometime before you removed it or broke it.

 

Thanks. I have been the only owner of this truck, and my bed has slammed down the entire time. I am going to order a new strut and open it up and see what happened, something went wrong somewhere I guess!

edit: I did buy it during covid, I wonder if a QC check got skipped, or they were a few short and just shipped em.

 

Pop the driver side tail light out and see if it’s disconnected or something. I highly doubt that your truck shipped without one.

 

So it is there. Looks like its broken, I tried to take a video but did a bad job. But basically it has no gas in it anymore and just drops. I ordered the one linked off ebay, so Im excited to see how it will work!

 

Sometimes you can save money getting stuff at a salvage/ junk yard. Depending on what you need, buying new is better.

After an 11 hour brisket smoke, I just didn't have the energy (or sobriety) to install my latest acquisition from @memario1214. Today, with renewed vigor and a belly full of brisket, I was able to summon the energy to overcome my lethargy.

These puppies are built like brick shit houses and put out the juice on a mere 2A draw. Gotta love lighting tech. Thanks for the great deal on these, Colton!

 

Used the onboard air to clean up around the engine bay and the air filter. Collects a bit more dust with the added Stillen tube to the TRD intake.

 

Yes that should be done when you do the trim pieces but it doesn't bother me enough to replace it

What did you wire the pass side to? Did you tap into the window switch power?

 

What's up guys? I'm new to the form. But have read and gotten a lot of info from here. Started checking out the thread about lifts and leveling kits. I ended up going with the Eibach Truck Pro 2.0. 2.5" leveling. Stage 1 for front and rear. I also installed Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 195/70/18 w/ Fuel Vectors. Absolutely love this. I installed them yesterday and the truck looks great.

 

No steering wheel audio controls fix

Glad to see you made it to the forum. Now get ready to empty your wallet.

 

Couple guys already running it. Smooth shifts not too firm etc. Ipt units shifts all over the place, not holding power, lots send backs. Few YouTube’s on the Aussie with more info. Theres also an additional reinforcement plate they use not seen in any other units.

Nothing to crazy on the truck today, moved it so I could get my daughters 4Runner in the driveway for an alternator replacement. That's a big ole PITA for 4th gen v8's, much harder than v6's. But it's done now.
