Weekender 8 gallon water port added. Be nice to shower/rinse boots off/dogs off when out hunting or camping. Try to keep the cab a little cleaner.

 

Rig is looking awesome brother. I’m loving it. If I didn’t own black I think the blue would be my second choice. Good luck on hunting.

Added rotopax. I have 2 more to add and a jerry can I need to mount as well. Be 17 gallons onboard. It will be needed for getting me to and from BFE for elk hunting. Used a full tank of gas just getting there and back without extra exploring. But the views are worth it.

 

I know this is an old thread, but do you remember what the color name was for the powder coat you used on these? Was it prismatic powders? And how did it turn out and hold up? I’m looking to get my front fender end caps done and I have the voodoo blue as well!

 

It was this color. Not sure on powder. Holding up ok except the inside corner of the slider kickout.

I spent quite a few weekends south and west of Lewiston bird hunting this year. Do you hunt with your dogs?

 

I do. I'm newer to this area though. Most of my bird hunting was in Walla Walla county in SE Washington.

 

How have the rotopax held up since you've gotten them? I've read reviews that (heavily) complain about pressurization issues.

 

Definitely need to vent them daily if in use. When not in use they are stored in my shop with lid on, but not tight so it can vent itself. The older style pour spouts were better. The newer ones suck.

 

A year later. Guess this is a really slow build.

So now that you've have the color matched (or close to) sliders on for a good while. Would you do them again or stick with black?

 

I’d do them again. Actually contemplating a new front bumper and doing the same color. Probably be another year

I may have both a bumper and sliders and paint on hand and I've just been needing time and weather to be in my favor. And to decide on my plan hahahaha

 

I keep bouncing back and forth. ADD stealth, C4 overland series without bull bar, and CBI classic. Can’t really decide, to many options with lighting.

 

Definitely determine what your lightning needs are and then make sure the bumper can accommodate. All 3 seem like solid choices and would look awesome in blue

 

Trying to get lighting figured out. Not just the bumpers, but the bed rack and @Squatting Pigeon ‘s ditch lights, and how I want switches set up etc.
