Does anyone have any toyota parts sources for a main engine wire harness(82111-0CQ61) for 2020 Tundra SR 5.7l? Toyota is saying there is an undetermined back order with 2 orders currently placed & none shown to be in transit within or to the United States in the foreseeable future.
Any help or possible source of where I might find would be greatly appreciated.

Finding one that is compatible seems to be the problem with going that route.

They can't be that different. Also for 1/10th of a new price I wouldn't think too hard.

It's pretty damned ridiculous for it to be this impossible to find a wire harness for a 5yr old truck.

Because no one needs them. The most reliable parts in any wrecked car go directly to scrap.

Well the fact that toyota used a soy based wire insulation on their wiring is why people most certainly need them. Mice & other rodents happen to make a nest in the engine compartment & to them the wire insulation is food so they completely destroy the harness. Which is the reason I'm desperately looking for a harness.

    Spray everything with mice deterrent.

    Hehe, been there, gang.

    20230706_094655.jpg

Doesn't work if mouse is determined. I had one mouse start making nest inside my cabin filter cavity. I was spraying with mint and put those cotton pads soaked in mint oil everywhere. Next morning, I open hood and those cotton pads are chewed off. I found them in my cabin filter cavity.

Every morning, I had to vacuum brand new nest out of my cabin filter. Three days in a row, not even kidding. BOTH CARS!!! venza and tundra.

Only mousetrap helped. After catching that fkr, my troubles stopped.

I will repeat again: if your critter found a good nest spot, it will be determined and no deterrents will help you. Only way is to catch the mouse.

I was safe many years until this one time(and another time) when one critter decided my car is the endgame.

Well, at least it's clear how it got there. I'm still puzzled how mine found its way into trunk of my car. Apparently she did many trips before succumbing to the weight of week's load of groceries.
