Nice find! I have a family member with one that I've driven, and I like that power train.

Do you have plans for mods at all?

Maybe in the future icon lift. But I already change the tires to the new nitto g3 P275/70/18. New bed step, leather seat covers, z1 intake, backflip cover, ceramic coating, bully dog tuner, all led lights from headlight revolution gtr 2 headlight bulbs, I did the black vinyl strip on the roof. The tundra has it from factory but not the titan.

Hmmmm. Can't support LEDs in a halogen reflector housing. Never ends well for oncoming traffic.

They are designed for a reflector housing. There is not any shattering light above the beam. Gtr 2

But you have to adjust your headlight per instructions. You can’t just installed them and say here you go. You have to make sure the beam is at level or below people side mirrors.

Yes! I had them on over 2 months and not one person flash their high beams. I had the exact one on my 08 tundra and they performed perfectly!

    How do you like it?

My parents have had two, and I almost went with one. But every single one I found had oil in the exhaust, and or something wrong with fluids leaking. Hence I went with a Ram.

ETA: I love the color, BTW. The Pro-4x was the exact Trim I was looking at as well.

I can share my next fix. Rust spots on the body being taken care of via warranty! Once that is done, these are the next steps:

    1. Under frame cleaned and sprayed for rust protection which will also give me warranty on the frame.

    2. A light bar that fits in the space at the bottom of the grill, just below the grill guard.

    3. Wheels.

I love it! It’s a beast of a truck. Very underrated. The VK56DE is an excellent engine. They use this engine for racing and probably one of the best Japanese v8 ever made. Only issues it has with high mileage is cracked manifolds but that’s just an excuse for me to put long tube headers in the future lol. I sold my 2008 tundra i had it for 8 years both solid trucks for sure!

The only reason I would stray from Toyota would be to get an F350 GMC 3500 or ......Dodge 3500 to put a truck camper in it.
Now if Yota put out a heavy duty truck......THAT would be highly considered. As long as...you know....everything wasn't this new 6 cylinder sort of thinking.

Agree. The TT6 is EXACTLY why I left Toyota. Almost went with a Titan, but each one had either oily substance in the exhaust, or one was actively leaking when I crawled under it. I am glad @Tundra_power was able to pick up one that was good. That engine is good though! My parents love theirs. Sad they are no longer making them.

Upgraded tires to the new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent. I wanted a more aggressive tire but not something too heavy. Dealer had a buy 3 get 1 free deal!
Good looking tire, slightly aggressive, yet comfortable, quiet ride.

Looks like it has some good siping for snow and ice.

I have a question; does the baby duramax have to have DEF?

It's just a scam and unnecessary expense, and most problems with modern diesels are with the emissions systems.

Well, this has aged like milk. Today I traded my F150 on a 3rd gen Tundra.

Build quality was the ultimate culprit. Loved the interior layout and features in the Ford, but it felt cheap. I was worrying about it's longevity as a whole more than doubting it's engine. That 5.0 Coyote is a hell of a thing.

Anyway, I start my crow dinner tonight, but I'll sleep well.
