Hey bud, mind sharing where to get the steering wheel emblem cover? Cheers

 

One of the few overlays I am using. I think it came from eBay.

 

I cannot find replacements for the steering wheel. The trim and logo will be overlays, unless someone on this forum has a line on black oem replacement parts.

 

Diode Dynamics bed lights. I hope they work with the bed cover I got hahaha. Super bright, adjustable as well, 330 or 1,000 lumens.

 

Is that a a big O ring?

 

Love those bed lights, but my Limited doesn’t have the light package,so no way to wire it….

Yep, I meant plug‘n‘play option…. I don’t have anything in my bed. I would like to tap/ splice into the cargo light harness if there were good instructions from anyone, .

so, it was easy but the bend is bad enough it won’t sit flush.

To get the antenna off, use a thin pry tool and release the four metal clips front and back holding in the rear light below the antenna. With the light out, and some small hands release the mic clips from above.

Once the mic is out you can unbolt the antenna and again with a thin pry tool, release the antenna cable.

There’s no need to pull or undo anything else.

 

A thin bead of black RTV silicone will help immensely to ensure proper sealing.

 

I like the idea of a $4 fix but I’ll probably have pdr done to it and get it taken care of properly.

 

You drive it yet without the antenna, just curious how the truck response (it throw a code?) or if its just no radio and connected services?

 

I have and I didn’t see any codes on the dash or screen. Seems fine without it. I imagine gps/xm doesn’t work but I am not subscribed to those services.

Should be able to take some of that bend out with a spoon and a dollie

Gave her a lil bath. Missed a few spots bc my neighbor’s kid wanted to show off his new dirt bike lol.

Yeah it’s a plastic washer to keep the skid plates from making the metal on metal squeaking.

 

Got the windows tinted with ceramic film. 5% sides and back, 45% windshield. Also installed Diode Dynamics fog lights.

 

Looks awesome!

 

Need to finish mounting subs, add grills, and tune everything with oscilloscope. Going to remove port and run it sealed for break-in, cu.ft. more on point with a sealed box.

 

This is so sick and makes me wish I didn't have a hybrid.

 

Not top of the line, but have used Skar in the past with no issues. Last truck I ran Rockford Fosgate, if I went with much better subs like JL or Rockfords I would have spent close to $2k on subs alone, too much for me.

 

Removed the emblems and decals. Now to find time to polish and ceramic coat the entire truck.

 

Wheel and tire combo are perfect, well done.

 

Ground-shaker.com sells boxes that fit the hybrid with very little modification to the truck. I have one running 2 shallow mount fosgates pushed with a Hertz mono amp and it sounds great.
