You know what pisses me off? The lack of programmable universal remotes nowadays. We had all kinds of programmable remotes when I was doing home theater installs back in the early 00's. I have a Logitech harmony 700 that I programmed to run all my shit. Everything nowadays is stupid ass HDMI ARC with stupid ass sound bars. Fuck that! I want my full on surround sound running through a digital processor and I want my TV to do absolutely nothing! It's a fucking monitor! No sound, no processing, no nothing! We used to sell a Pionner plasma bitd that was just that. It was called a monitor, because it didn't even come with speakers. It was also $10k in 2003 dollars and we only installed 2 of them. Man, we also had some bad ass speakers by the name of Martin and Logan. Really weird speakers. They were like hydroscopic or something. I don't remember. Yup.

Little late on this, but my TV still has a tube and is only 27”. Everyone in my extended family complains when they come over Cleaning out moms house and contemplating grabbing the 55”, but I don’t know
