I picked up a used 2020 Tundra Sport Crewmax a few years back and it's been great. The only issue I have is the truck came with a dual out exhaust with a single chamber Street Flow muffler. The truck isn't obnoxiously loud, but it's too loud for my taste. I like the dual exhaust look and I'm sure the performance is negligible so I'm not too fucused on that. It's more of an issue now that we have a baby in the house and her room is right against the garage, so when I head out and return late at night twice a week for hockey, it wakes her up.

I need to get the truck quieter and with the kid, money is a factor. I was looking at going back to a stock muffler and pipe but that is ~$600. I have a buddy who is a decent welder, so I thought the next best option would be cutting and welding in a new muffler. My question is, what would be the most cost efficient way to go about this? Recommendations on a muffler would be appreciated too. I'd also be happy to straight trade someone for their stock exhaust, but I don't have the 50 posts to add that in the markeplace on this website.

Look on FB marketplace and other similar places. You can usually pickup stock systems for cheap to free.

    I second this opinion.

your current system is hurting performance and mpg. If your only choice is stock, it’ll be better than whatcha have.

Thanks for the input everyone, I had looked on FB, Ebay and Craigslist before making this post and didn't see anything that was stock that was a decent price. A posting just came on FB Marketplace and I was able to get it for $50. Install with new gaskets and bolts tomorrow!
