A am amazed by some of you guys. I was trying to research this yesterday and then closed all my browsers when I saw the pricing of the transmissions and the need to flash to a different manufacturer's software to facilitate comms. I just don't have the mental capacity to learn, retain, and problem solve if I was in the Northwoods of Maine trying to explain the setup to normal mechanic/shop. Watching this and the 4L80 swap closely, though. Kudos to both you, @BRX , and @Winks4x4Toy for what you're doing.

Appreciate the Kudos, but @BRX blazed this 8HP trail, every part I chose was because of his experience getting this working on his Tundra

That reminded me when I was asked if anyone borrowed my truck and it broke down would they be able to work on it. I said why would I let someone borrow my truck?
In all reality most of the stuff can be troubleshot but lots of chasing wires and figuring out what's what/aftermarket stuff etc.

I resemble this, especially in the '18 gauge cluster in my '13 department.

Curious about the filters that are coming with the kit and if they all have that extension previous discussed in this thread or if they match the stock filter. I can't remember who it was that chimed in and said they needed to cut theirs down.

She seems to be pretty shallow. I'll know once pan and filter is dropped

The filter seems to be the same as what came off...I didn't measure it, but my looking appeared to suggest...there was no issues with the upgraded PML pan, as there shouldn't be, but now I'm pondering if it was indeed deeper or if it wasn't...:monocle:

Showing factory filter measurements. If the VB filter inlet was deeper you'd see it bolt up uneven. The stock filter pickup is almost touching the rear baffle on the pml pan.

With tax and freight shipping to a residence it came out to $4908. Saved $375 with my offer.

    Question for the group.

Would a tune revision typically be necessary after adding the SABM? Thanks in advance.

Very unlikely unless you're running a ton of boost and had a lot of intake restriction.

When I did my testing I didn't notice much of any change to AFRs.
