Can confirm. My LG fridge is about the same age. Also needs a fan motor. Haven't ordered the part yet though...

LG thanks you but recommends that you take those seriously old and outdated units to the landfill rather than repair them.

These are our 3 pups. We've always had bully breeds of one sort or another.

Leia is our blue nose APBT.
Finn is our brindle Staffordshire Bull (and our favorite but don't tell the other two).
Ruger is some sort of APBT/hound mix.

Thank you. I agree. Lol! He's such a sweet guy too, if there was one dog we could get again it'd probably be him. Our blue nose is the best behaved but his personality is second to none. Sorry, I'm an obnoxious pet parent with the pics. :DFB_IMG_1463785250640~2.jpg

Anyone have any dog food or OTC allergy meds they recommend for pitbulls, specifically they’ve found that works? Axle keeps licking / kicking (to itch). Pits are generally more allergy sensitive in general.

Honestly, given your diet, feed him what you eat. A real food/raw diet is usually great for dogs.

Call the vet. Pretty sure you can do Benadryl. Just weight dependent. May have to do half tabs or if he weighs enough can use full tab.

Forgot about the Benadryl. I’ll have to find something to hide it in (treat wise) so he eats it

Zyrtec is an option as well. Tiny pill, easy to hide, and available in the Kirkland generic brand at Costco for cheap.

Our pit doesn’t have allergy issues. But during spring our chihuahua scratches his face so much it gets raw. The vet told us about allergy shots about once a month. But we noticed that one shot per spring usually curbs it pretty well.

So our past Golden Retriever would get bad skin allergies. Once or twice a year the vet would have to give him some meds.
Not sure why we tried it but we got the Royal Canin from Petco for Goldens, specific. No issues with allergies afterwards; he had that for the rest of his life.
We give the non specific Royal Canin to our Doodles and they seem to be fairly allergy free.
It ain't cheap but worth no vet visits. The wife orders from Chewy.com and has it delivered.
They may have Bull Terrier or similar mix. If not maybe try the non specific.

    Obligatory Doodle pic.

I would add that we tried all kinds of otc shampoos with little more than immediate relief, nothing long lasting or any kind d of solution.

I have heard of giving dogs stuff like Zyrtec or other allergy meds but dosage and consistency (daily) is key and hard for most to manage.

We always get our dogs Benadryl when they would itch. My wife would buy what they call a pill pocket it's a treat he's got a hollow center you push the pill in and squish around it. They would go crazy for the chicken flavored they really liked it
