Oh damn.... yea, the transmission swap on that WRX is gonna cost you quite a bit....
If you don't mind me asking, what happened?
Yea, those sales sometimes just shows up for no reason, sometimes it is tied to holidays and stuff.

    Not enough....
Well, it was supposed to have a newer clutch in it when I bought it, but after a whopping 2500 miles it's slipping. So, instead of just doing a clutch, I just went all out and bought a full driveline from a 2020 STI and a new clutch. But of course it's like when you mouse a cookie, so I also had to get a short shifter.......and new bushings everywhere lol. I'm also allergic to letting other people work on my vehicles, so I'm doing it myself with a friend, but progress is slow between work and family.

Down the line I'm sure I'll pick up the new headlights, but I definitely need to recover from this first lol.

Haha quite true. I do love it, and the Moms at daycare drop off HATE it! My 05 GTO had a cam too....and a turbo, but with a 6 speed mileage was at least half decent. However in the G8 with a high stall converter I'm lucky to get 11mpg around town lol. But it does make the soul happy.

Haha yup. At this point it's basically a whole new car lol. But at least it's mine, and not the banks. I refuse to have debt, so I just have to control my spending urges at times lol.
