Is this the model you have? Seems like it would be sketchy lifting a Tundra.

You do need to think ahead.

Once you figure out the balance point, they are solid. The same goes for a 2 post lift.

Don't remove both rear tires or both front tires thinking the balance has not changed.

Same goes for removing A-arm bolts with a hand ratchet and a cheater bar. You can upset the balance. Just give it a bit of thinking.

Another advantage is you can lift the truck from the side once you know the balance points.

Obviously, if you are removing engine/ transmission assemblies, these lifts have a disadvantage.

Regardless, you need to be aware of balancing issues.

4 post units are not an issue.

The deadening project FINALLY came to an end, well the hard and laborious part that is. Pressure washed the carpet today after soaking and going through them will the drill and brush disc. Used Superior Products Does it All solution, purchased from O’Reily Auto parts.
Put everything back that would be under the carpet. Hopefully the next week will have decent temp so it can dry good.
Had some left over materials and decided to use for the hood. Once the insulation pad goes back on, you cant even tell. Not sure if it would do anything. But oh well. I’m sure it does “something”.

Installed front camera and decided to plasti-dip the chrome logo in the grill while I was at it! After black door handles and mirror caps I now need new headlights without the chrome!

Also, finished the slider project. Couple more coats of bed armour and finally got them mounted.

    I like it!

    quick poll question:

debadge or blackout the chrome badge on the door??

Went to Menards and bought over 2400 lbs of pavers, sand and such
The Hellwig helper springs appear to have done their job. The truck didn't squat that much.
But it was a slow, creaky ride home....

I'm glad someone is... my wife was a nervous wreck on the ride home. The thought of "I should've made two trips" was defiantly on my mind.

Well I found a deal on 2 complete 3urfe’s engines one has less than 1k miles with upgraded fuel rails that was going to go into a race truck but the race organizers wouldn’t tag it for the class and the other is from his built tundra that had a blower and hurt motor.

So we’ll stab the running one in and take mine out and build the backup and I’m going to give @snivilous the other for R&D for the community. Let’s see what the mad scientist comes up with

Ok, almost all back together from January rearender. My new C4 rear bumper replacement bumper goes on at the repair shop and will be calibrated by Toyota Escondido on Thursday.

additionally "The Truck Shop" in Miramar is r/r my Baja Designs 30" S8 in my Front C4 bumper tomorrow.

Shout out to Baja Designs for allowing an advance warentee replacement which will save a lot in the labor cost and down time for R/R vs take apart remove light put back together send light back to BD for testing then get repaired or replacement light and then reinstall in the bumper.
While I was at BD facility in San Marcos one of the guys suggested I warentee my ditch lights for the faded Powder coat. Anyway, Thank you to Baja Designs for the assist on this. I will be back lighting up Tundras 2 Sedona night runs.

Note: I will be putting the replaced 8 month old C4 bumper up on the market place soon at half current C4 list price with the disclaimer that it was in an accident and may potentially suffer from metal fatigue.

Not necessarily- I think this engine had a tick etc before boost. And I’m very hard on my truck along with pushing over 700hp I’d guess. Plenty of boosted tundras with over 200k miles . This is an extreme use case example.

Same Wheels as me! Love the Rapids. Such a great looking wheel. Definitely going back to the Baja Boss's after my Ridge Grapplers wear out. Wish they made a skinny 37 lol.

Are you talking about the Tacoma? Or something you see in the AE86? I have service scheduled this week, I can take some more detailed pics if needed.

The Falcon 2.25" Sport Tow/Haul Leveling kit. Settled to about 2" lift in front with OEM coils. Coachbuilder +2s in the rear. Plenty of clearance without rubbing so far.

Nice! Coming from a Tacoma it still impresses me that you can fit a 35 with only a 2" lift

You can fit 35s with no lift with the right offset and no mud flaps.
