Yep, Glocks are VERY good for a lot of people. I've owned several over the years and ran a G34 in IDPA for awhile. Never let me down, was very accurate and ran perfect every time.

I’ve never liked Glock until the 43x that I have now. Always felt out of place in my palm. I may give them another shot soon but I really like more rounded models.

anything that you feel good shooting would be a priority choice

Started carrying a Glock 19 years and years ago, in an IWB tuckable holster at ab 5 o'clock. Bought a Glock 36 (45 acp) a few years ago and have carried it almost exclusively. Just bought a 43X last weekend, waiting on the holster to come in. I think its gonna be the best (for me) all around. Will conceal under a t-shirt, gonna be a great summer carry rig.

My current EDC is a Sig P365X. I used to carry a SA XD9SC, Kahr P45, S&W Shield and a Ruger LCR. Each served a purpose at the time I carried them but now I'm pretty happy with the Sig.

You may want to look at the Walther PPS M2 in 9mm. They are a bargain right now - in my opinion - since they are single stack - and everyone is leaning toward the 365 and hellcat.
You can use an 8 round mag to go 8+1.

Heh, I did pick one up recently because it was so cheap. Haven't shot it yet but will be at the next range session.

My favorite, next to my p365xl. Toolless disassembly, all kinds of aftermarket doo dads. Upgraded both grip modules to Wilson Combat, and now fit my hands prefect

3lb trigger springs on both the 365 and my xl made a big difference with accuracy for me

In your experience, does your Sig 365's shoot low a little at 15-20 yards?

I haven't shot it past 15 yards too often so can't recall if it was low. At 15 yards, it's dead center mass.

At 20-21 yards it was a couple inches low on the legion. Now this was not from a bench rests or anything like that so it could have been totally this guy.

I'm not either of the 2 you responded to, but at about 15-20 yards it's dead on for me. (When I remember the normal rules and don't get all excited and slap the trigger.)

The best gun (in any scenario) is the one you are comfortable and practiced with.

I'd try a laser bore sight or at least a bench rest first before you you start adjusting irons.

I only use iron sights, therefore my experiences are based upon how tired I am, and for how long I'm shooting.

Kind of like bowling, for me.

When I first get there, my circles are usually pretty consistent, but the longer I shoot, the further off I get, say an hour later.

Bowling poorly as games progressed, was a result of the beers in between throws, so no excuse there.

Im usually a little right, and high of the target when Im off. Personally, I believe this is user error (grip) as my LEO trainer is consistently dead on, no matter what he is shooting: brand, make or model.

Ever see anyone hit a flying bumble bee passing across the target, mid day, at 20-25 yards?

I need a few hundred more years practice, to be as good as he is
    Lol

Most definitely. It wasn't bad and it was probably the shooter. However, my CZ was dead on but I have around 600 more rounds through it.

I bought my wife a Ruger LCR, we went to multiple ranges when we were shopping but at the time no one had an LCR to rent. I'm my head I was what could go wrong it is a Ruger and a revolver worst case scenario i get a new gun and we keep shopping for the wife. That is hands down bar none the absolute worst gun purchase i have ever made and to date the only gun i have ever sold. The wife shot a box out of it i look over after her last round of shooting and she was crying i asked her what was wrong (crying isn't unusual for her) she says this gun really hurts my palm. So I shot several wheels thru it and she was right. I think it had to be a combination of the light weight and the flat back of the grip but we both ended up with bruised palms and we were shooting light plinker ammo. I ended up buying her a Sig 938 like mine which she loves to carry and shoot. I mostly carry the 938 but I will occasionally switch it out for a Kimber STS in 40 the first gun i ever bought on my 21st birthday is still my favorite pistol that I own.

Also maybe with a new rig, you've got an overly strong off-hand pulling things south.. :notsure:

    Sorry, kind of spitballing here.

I use a bore laser, combined with the trl6 to see how close the two match, and adjust the trl6 to match the bore laser placement, while supported mount. This way, when i'm dry firing practicing in the house, I can compare my aim to the bore laser, to see if im consistent, while trl6 on, then off.

Drives the cats nutty, cause they associate the racking with the red dot showing up on a wall outlet, or door knob.

I only had like 30 rounds at the time. Dead center on the bottom plate it was hitting the bottom. If I held closer to the top of the plate it would strike the center.

    IMG_7487.jpg

By all means I'm not saying this is a bad weapon. It's a really nice shooter for how compact and lightweight it is.

I find myself having greater accuracy firing the P365XL, than my P365. Considering there is only minor barrel and grip differences, I can only assume the 1/2" longer barrel and longer grip, aids in stray, or drop. I am a novice when it comes to these, only using from time to time, but thats what I experience.

Either way, these two are my favorite cc and use, even vs my 1911, although the 1911 is .45, so I get to make bigger holes in stuff
    Haha

I've found the same thing but with my G19x. Considering the G19x is larger than my P365XL, that's saying a lot. The P365XL is the *ONLY* firearm I've bought without test shooting a 'copy' first. It felt that good in my hand. (Giggity.)
